Y’all called up Johnny Bench yet for stories about what it was like playing in the postseason?
Going to dig up some old Thom Brennaman-Marge Schott interviews instead imo
I wonder what Pete Rose is throwing down on this series. He probably isn't even betting on the Reds.
He always was a sucker.
i don't want to play y'all.
Reds have won 5 series in a row. 4 more should be easy.
In the memory it Tommy Hanson, the Braves shall win
Pretty sure Pete Rose has basically been broke for over a decade now. My cousin saw him charging for autographs at a shitty furniture store not too long ago. Said it was sad and basically like that one pic of WWF's Virgil with no one in line.
I saw him signing autographs at the MGM Grand in Vegas a few years ago in some memorabilia shop. It actually was sad. All jokes aside he should be in the HoF.
Good evening haters
Reds in 2
The x factor this series is going to be Pablo Sandoval.
I’m here for the disappointment
lets go Reds!
why do you hurt me like this?
Our Major League-worst .212 BA has me feeling extremely confident, you guys.
I'd pay for that. Hit king is a big deal, and will be remembered as such.
Back to the topic at hand, who wouldn't be excited to watch any ATL pro sports team in the playoffs? Particularly if you're a fan of the opposing team.
Kemp is allowing full stadiums in GA.
Our home field will be like opening day
Is your guys new stadium hitter friendly or pitcher friendly? All we can do is hit homers and we get plenty of wall scrapers at our bandbox home.
He is also at a point where he has sold so many autographs for so many years that everyone who wants one already has it.
What your stadium is the most HR friendly with a factor of 2.1, Truist is middle of the road at 17th with a factor just under 1.
Need advance stat guys Tobias and Louis Holth to further explain
That's the shit keeping Ken Griffey Sr. up at night.
That and Pete Rose calling to ask for money.
It’s pretty much right down the middle.
Tobias or myself can accurately handle any questions itt
They’re really allowing fans? Going to be in the area this week so maybe I’ll go and try and catch a reds win with a healthy dose of covid
I was kidding. I don't think they are, but I did read somewhere that the Falcons & ATL UTD will have limited Fans in October. I'm not sure if it is MLB policy or the Braves, but I wouldn't be shocked if they tried to get some fans in there
i don’t think stuhly is right
One post above, dipshit
you then proceeded to say you wouldn’t be surprised if we had fans despite no indication at all that we will so thus
I love just spinning a roulette wheel to determine which nl central team is going to end our season every year
I said I wouldn't be shocked if they tried. That doesn't mean we're planning to have them.
It’s not “our” season. You’re not a fan and you’re not allowed in our thread. Eat shit ale.
I'm sorry, do we know each other?
As thread starter I agree ale should be thread banned
devine since you’re a fan of the only NL central team not in the playoffs I’d imagine you have time on your hands to use your mod powers and make it happen
Lord, preserve the sanctity of our very serious sports discussion
yeah ale it’s totally that and not your constant eager anticipation to whine and actively enjoy the team losing. fuck you
no fans at any mlb games
Will be interesting to see if the Reds can keep up with the Braves bats and/or if the Reds pitching does good as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a homerun. And so that'll make it a 4-0 ballgame. I don't know if I'll be putting on this headset again. Whether that be fore the Reds or my bosses at FOX.
Anyone seen a betting line for the series? Saw someone predicting a reds upset earlier, wouldn't shock me if they were favored.
We haven’t advanced in the playoffs since 1995. We aren’t winning
Hope you are right
We last won a post season series in 2001
reds are +120 for game 1. no chance they’re favored
