Hannibal Burress just started a new podcast. He's hilarious and I've enjoyed the first couple of episodes
Stumbled across this pod Up and Vanished. Serial style pod about a Georgia Beauty Queen that disappeared in 2005. Listened to the first 2 and im pretty intrigued. Definitely scratches that Serial itch.
I'm way late to this but I love this pod. I died at Henry Zebrowski doing Richard Chase's high pitched voice
CBB-TV finale was great tonight. An appearance by Maxwell Keeper and Longo Watch Repair in the 2nd to last episode.
Found a new one that's been great so far called "50 Things That Made the Modern Economy". It's from BBC. They are just under 10 minutes long. For example he talks about how the Knights Templar set the foundation of Banking industry in his Banks episode or about how making fertilizer changed the world, but also led to the development of chemical weapons. Highly recommend it
Have been listening to Lance Armstrong's The Forward Podcast. Has some great guests on there, pretty good listen
It is pretty funny listening to episodes knowing that 1. U2 listened to some of this shit and 2. they eventually meeting the band.
One I have been getting into recently is Dough Boys. http://www.feralaudio.com/show/doughboys/ Two comedy writers review chain restaurants, it starts a little slow but is pretty fucking funny
From February... Spoon Nation or Burger Brigade? Also, I saw them tape a live show at UCB Sunset back in July and had a blast.
Im subscribed to 60, but I'd say at least half are seasonal or fairly infrequent And for some reason Im still subbed ot all the ringer pods, although I rarely listen to them

I am subscribed to over 200 podcasts. I listen at work all day every day and only keep up with the ones that are newsy and related to current events (sports, politics, etc.) The others (stories, comedy, language learning, etc.) I get to when I'm caught up with the ones described above. It's truly asinine on my part, but I love #content.

When Joe Rogan has on like Shane Smith or Dan Carlin, his podcast is great. Then he will go 3 months of having a bunch of c level comedians or regurgitate the same meathead/weed/ufc shit idgaf about. He gets on some great guests somehow
After initially having a negative reaction to The Last Podcast on the Left, I decided to give it another try. I am now totally into it and retract my previous criticism. It's awesome. Also, highly recommend the Crimetown podcast. It's the true account of former Providence, RI, mayor, Buddy Cianci's, rise and fall. The characters and interviews are amazing.
I've never like actually listened to Jones for more than a few minutes at a time. I had to stop once he claimed that Obama was bisexual because he was seen hanging out with like a dozen guys. I gave it a shot, which I'm proud of
If you can make it past the political conspiracy, after that his true crazy really comes out and it's amazing. Talking about aliens and extra dimensions of hell ect. It's hilarious. Idk how anyone can take him seriously.
I suspect it's all performance, or at least started out that way. He found a niche, played into it and now started believing his own bullshit. At least that's my theory after listening to one interview with him.
