His letters to the Pirates had me in tears. I hope they eventually get the guy on with the Pirates that received the letters. Can’t imagine what his reaction was when reading them the first time.
Not a podcast, but falls under the realm of what I find interesting in podcasts. I realize this may be the single dorkiest post in TMB history, but whatever, I watched/listened to all 16 minutes of this.
Best stitcher premium podcasts? Think I've binged the school one almost all. Big fan of the comedy improv style.
I swear Horatio Sanz has the attention span of a goldfish, which makes it even more hilarious when people have to improv off his ridiculous shit
Anyone who hates Thomas Middleditch from Silicon Valley & the Verizon commercials is doing themselves a disservice, the dude is an absurdly hilarious improviser
And they won't even have to leave the house to handle their package mailing needs thanks to Stamps.com
Enjoying "In the Dark" (true crime) which Devine mentioned earlier.. Reporter Madeleine Baran examines the case of Curtis Flowers, who has been tried six times for the same crime. For 21 years, Flowers has maintained his innocence. He's won appeal after appeal, but every time, the prosecutor just tries the case again. In the Dark is an investigative podcast from APM Reports.
Middleditch listing off all the details he mentioned in a row at the end of CBB had me in tears. Episode will easily be in top 3 of Best Of this year.
This was the best thing from an amazing episode. The fact that Horatio stayed on the phone the entire time as peppers was so good.
The amount of details she researched is truly incredible. I just googled her and she is not what I was expecting
It’s killing me not to google updates etc. I’m still listening. No idea where it is headed. They just found out about the 3 “Birmingham boys” suspects. Fuck that DA.
Added "Mafia" to my playlist. Highly recommend. Each episode (most are two-parters) covers a different organized crime figure. Does a good job of covering the background on guys like Lucky Luciano, Bugsy Siegel, Dutch Schultz, etc.
Mighty Ducks Podcast is my guilty pleasure podcast. Some really cool interviews from the cast sprinkled in with some random ass theories and tangents. https://thequackattack.com/
So good. It reminded me of Jacuzzi Pete's rant from Episode X. Feeney is a brilliant comedy writer regardless of the 7% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
What. The. Fuck? How the fuck do those old, no-that-good movies have their own podcast? And why on the ever living fuck do they have 167 episodes? And why the fuck would anyone listen to that?
I can tell you as someone younger than that that no one in my age group things those movies weren't that good. The whole series were classics for us
Just finished. All 3 seasons were awesome fwiw. 1 & 2 about a murder and 3 about a missing person. https://soundcloud.com/murderonthespacecoast
Teachers Pet is an Australian true crime podcast, the story is more interesting than the podcast which is a bit heavy handed. Not a bad listen though because the story is kind of mind blowing.
Crimetown was good. Specific to Providence, RI. I never realized it was a mob town until I heard the series.
Love the show. The topics can be kind of wide-ranging but it leads to some really interesting episodes. Super good dudes and they crank out content almost non-stop. The only patreon I contribute to other than S&S (which I do begrudgingly - Mike sucks but the content is good).
