The Pokémon Company have announced that Sinnoh Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO soon. With this there are some changes coming to the world of Pokémon GO. First, weather has a reduced rate on what Pokémon will appear. With this, more Pokémon will appear as you explore areas more and parks will contain more varied Pokémon. In addition to this, the CP values are being adjusted in the near future and Hit Points will be adjusted to lower the gaps between Pokémon with high and low HP. The stat system will also be adjusted to give benefits to more Defensive Pokémon and Defense values will be reduced
If you have any special CP mons you keep for fun, take a screenshot now because they're about to disappear and be worthless. also don't power up shit right now.
I dont understand the point of this. It's not like the battle system is very good anyway. It almost sounds like they will make it easier to win battles. They are already easy to win.
I think the point is to make it so something like Shuckle, with little HP but amazing defense, is useful. Also so maybe Blissey and Chansey aren't just the default defenders. Many also think it's a prelude to PvP so people can use less-used mons more. like 666, 420, 69, all the goofy CPs people collect.
1. I take the first part about the weather as spawn points in localized areas will have similar mons, as you move to new areas the spawns will vary. and Parks will have multiple nesting pokemon 2. CP update sounds like the last one for Gen 2, not really surprising with gen 4 coming 3. Hit points from a pokemon will depend less on its HP. guessing only certain pokemon will get defenses reduced, like blissleys. I would further think this has more to do with creating a viable model for trainer vs trainer battling in the future. Who wants to battle someone with 6 blissleys 1v1?

I’m going off of the hand full that I’ve seen but Gen IV looks like someone looked out the window and whatever was trolling the parking lot that day became a Pokémon.
This gen sucked (as an avid game player). Rhyperior and Mammoswine will be tanks though Am looking forward to Garchomp and Lucario
The rebalance doesn't change the attack stat, it still favors mons with lopsided specialized attack stats over balanced mixed attackers.
Carnivine is a SE US regional. Seems to stop at the Carolinas (Venus Flytrap mon), unfortunate for me.
After the update, we have a Puplip nest about 10 mins away. Haven't seen a wild spawn otherwise. Caught 30 in 2 hours earlier though and got a decent Empolean out of it (93, 15 att) Gonna try and hit it again before nest rotation tomorrow night.
