Got my battle record up to 288-162. I’ll take a 64% winning percentage. Currently rocking Master League with Melmetal, Swampert, and Togekiss
what CPs? currently running My 4160 CP mewtwo, 3600 kyroger and 3600 Groupon and not doing nearly as well as I thought I would be.
Maxed Melmetal with Superpower and Rock Slide, Max Togekiss with Flamethrower and Ancient Power and max Metagross with Meteor Mash (max I mean lvl 40 not 100% IVs although my Kiss and Melmetal are 98%) and I’m dominating Rank 8. Something like 33/40. 182/266 68.4% overall
Yeah there's a world of difference between rank 8 and ranks 9/10. Part of the ranking formula incorporates your badges and *something* else (Xp, pokemon caught, something) so that players that haven't accumulated the resources to have maxed versions of everything aren't slaughtered. Obviously I've put in a lot of work in PGo and go about 50/50 with these teams in rank 10. I'd say I'm slightly worse than the average trainer in Rank 10 when it comes to knowing types/charge moves/counters. The pvppoke rankings are a pretty good way to build a team, if you don't use them: https://pvpoke.com/rankings/all/10000/overall/ (My main team) 3332 100% Tog -- So many meta leads 4115 100% Kyogre -- General hoss, great for when someone switches to Metagross immediately to avoid Tog 3792 100% Dragonite - Giratina, Kyogre/Swampert, Snorlax killer (the most fun team) 3584 96%(15A) MelMetal -- Tip: charge up Superpower to use twice in a row so you're not wasting fast strikes between charge moves after already being debuffed ***Do not get caught with MelMetal in the end game unless you're using Rock slide. The Superpower debuffs are too strong*** 3952 98% (15A) Garchomp -- Sand Tomb isn't one of the recommended charge moves on PvPoke, but it is a guaranteed single stage defense debuff whether it's blocked or not. Can get the opponent into a hasty switch when they shouldn't. 3332 100% Tog - Mix it up squad 3718 96% (14A) Darkrai - good against Giratina, ok vs Dialga, great against Metagross and Snorlax leads 3783 98% (15A) Metagross - Togekiss killer 3792 100% Dragonite - I have maxed high IV Dialga and Giratina to use as well, just have fallen into liking these teams.
Also, lucky swapped my shiny Gible with a friend last night. Let's just say there were shrieks. Gonna wait until a CD to add him to my Garchomp army.
loving this thunderus reward in battle league. for someone that doesn't raid its nice to get legendaries again. finally think i settled into a good team that's been working well for me. 25/35 71% win record currently, with 10 long streak. start out with melmetal and use superpower real quick so the nubs use both their shields right from the get go, then if he can't finish them often switch to either heracross with close combat/earthquake which usually takes down most of the meta and also fighting/bug is good deterrent to them as well, or i'll switch to snorlax with lick/body slam/earthquake to take out any wild giratinas or others hera/mel doesn't matchup well against. been really successful so far. having a lot of fun battling which i never thought i'd even get into.
trying to get through this genesect quest but i guess quarantine is causing people to not go out. anyone friends with chemicaldavid and wanna open my gift so i can give you another and get to the next quest step?
does jangusjhan ring a ball as a player to anyone? just got a friend request and this is literally the only place online I've ever put my number, all my IRL ones were done in-person.
That's awesome. Too bad Blissey is such a bad shiny. Just boost that thing to 40 and leave it as a Chansey for gyms. I managed this yesterday courtesy of The Blackfish
NYGator if you see this in time tonight can you toss me a gift on you and your son's account? try to maximize my stuff before the night flips.
Just checked and I have no gifts. I haven't been driving around much lately due to the shelter in place. Sorry.
no sweat! safety > PoGo, was just tracking who I'd been doing gifts with this week because of the event.
I have been really bad this past few weeks. Tried to forget about th enamel for the first time since I started playing. It’s a bit liberating to not know what is going on.
Do the guys here that go hard af in the Go League with grinding for best movesets play Pokemon Sword Shield online battles at all? If not, why not?
it’s decent in the fact that it offers good damage output and good coverage managed to get 15 shinies today and only 1 3 star. Highest was a 93. Not the best day but Alakazam is pretty meh
