Not super caught up on this thread but maybe it has been discussed. Anyone else experienced a noticeable & steady decline in the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich? First 5-10 I had were freaking awesome. Every subsequent one (about 5) have all been worse than the previous. Decline in chicken quality and spice is almost non-existent now. I have tried a couple different locations after the closest one to me yielded 2 bad results and same thing so it is not just a single location issue I have experienced it at.
Not gonna lie I'm probably going to get a fish sandwich today. I don't eat fast food fish regularly but every now and then I get a hankering. I blame Lent/Catholicism. Went to McDonald's a couple weeks back and got a filet o fish and was actually better than I remember. Think they must have changed up the batter a while back because it was more fish and chips style batter than a chicken nugget style breading like it used to be. Also, agree with Arby's having a solid one last time I had it.
I remember them being pretty good as a kid. CFA, Popeyes, etc. wasn’t around so it’s not like there was much competition.
i mean I like LJS but their chicken is bottom of the list arby’s is the victim of bad PR and meme/jokes (Simpsons, Daily Show) but has top 5 fries, one of the better shakes in Jamocha, and you literally can’t go wrong with their food choices imo. Would rather eat there than McD’s most of the time in my fatter days I loved Arby’s
Had the fish sandwich. Same pickles and bun as the chicken sandwich. Tartar sauce was fine but not special. The fish is a spicy breading, not the spicy mayo from the chicken sandwich. Was good, but obviously no chicken sandwich. Close to or on par with Arby's fish though.
I need to get an answer about Imurhuckleberry saying the best fried chicken was Long John Silver’s. That’s a wild take
hahaha yeah I don’t know anyone who goes and there’s usually like a 2-3 car length line at max meanwhile chicken salad chick or whatever bends into traffic where my mom lives. Insane
I don't get the Arby's hate. Not elite but I'll take it over McDonald's and Sonic any day. It's on that mid tier with BK and Wendy's for me.
Last time I went to Arby’s I got some turkey wrap, it was part of a 2 things for $4 or something like that, that was really damn good. It had horsey sauce on it that I didn’t know about so that was a nice surprise. I’ll fuck with some Arby’s every couple months or so.
If you don't like a French dip or a beef n cheddar from Arby's then why are you even getting fast food? Go to Chipotle, nerds
Haven't had Arby's in quite a while, but I'm a fan. Beef n Cheddar is a classic delicious fast food sandwich.
It's pretty good but not at all filling. My wife brings that shit home somtimes and I'm still hungry after.
Yes by a lot. McDonald's is bottom of the barrel for me. Only good thing on the menu is chicken mcgriddles and hashbrowns imo. Non-breakfast is all awful.
The chicken fingers at Long John Silvers are good imo. Haven’t been there in about 5 years or so though. The guy that used to sit next to me at work would bring coupons in once a month and we’d get carry out and ring the bell that they had there for good service
