Also, the popeye’s chicken sandwich filet is just a better piece of fried chicken than the CFA filet. Bigger, juicier, crisper. Better.
Your CFA homer is showing. Popeyes has the advantage bc you can control how much spice you want. Get a plain and ask for spicy mayo on the side. Go light for a hint of heat. Go heavy if you want hair on your chest. At CFA you're stuck having it their way.
There's things you can argue CFA > Popeyes. Service, speed, shakes, and ice cream come to mind. But anything that involved chicken, Popeyes >>>> .
The best part is that Shawn probably gave himself a week of shits and didn’t even try the thing he was supposed to.
The chicken at CFA is constant at say 7.5. Rarely moves. Popeyes sandwiches can be a 3, but more often they’re at 8-9+
No homer. The Popeyes sandwich is good, but I need that spice without needing mayo. If I’m choosing between spicy sandwiches though I’m getting Chick-fil-A. If I want tenders I’m going Popeyes 100% of the time over Chick-fil-A.
You're so weird about this. Just stay in thr CFA thread with yoir 8 billion CFA points. You're like those weird Auburn fans that want to hang out in the Bama thread.
I’ve had the Diablo chicken sandwich from Arby’s twice now and really enjoyed it both times. It took about halfway in for the heat to really kick in. It’s not as hot as they play it up to be but the mini vanilla shake is a nice touch. I couldn’t help but think about how much better the sandwich would be with a CFA patty though.
I like Wendy's and Cfa spicys more than popeyes. Popeyes spicy tenders and spicy dark meat are my favorite fast food chicken by far though.
Whataburger is an elite fast food hamburger. Also, I'm sorry your popeyes order is inferior because it's trendy.
I think cfa does a lot of things well but I don't think they're the best at anything. I still enjoy them even though they're problematic
I really love CFA. The food is great and the entire experience is delightful. Pop’s spicy chicken is way better than anything at CFA though. Like, very obviously in every way.
Its a good burger. I don't disagree. It's severely overhyped though. Same with In-N-Out and Culver's. A lot of people overrate things from their region.
Agreed on hashbrowns. I live in a weird spot with an elite popeyes and terrible McDonald's. Fries are always cold and the coke machine is fucked up.
I don't like Culver's at all. Very plain to me. Maybe have just been expecting too much due to the hype.
Culver’s burgers are meh. Their fish sandwich is legit though. Had it several times and it’s great quality. In-N-Out is a mediocre burger for people who live half a country away from good beef production. Runza burgers are mostly only in Nebraska but their burgers are better than most of these other places because they buy beef locally. Grew up spoiled on them and went to Cali and heard all this hype about INO and left severely disappointed and confused
A McDouble or two used to hit the spot every once in awhile when they were $1. Not really much of a value anymore. And last time I went I got two McSingles.
Please, rattle off some better fast food burgers than whataburger. I'm not even sure how my popeyes opinion is a hot take. The tenders with spicy breading are amazing.
Made the mistake of going and getting this the other day. I must have gone to the worst Arby's possible. Guy who rang me up was a prick, dropped my empty cup topside down on the counter because I didn't grab it from him immediately as I was putting away my card. Chicken at Arby's blows and I've known that forever because 15 years ago I loved the chicken bacon Swiss and the patties changed and its been garbage ever since. Anyway the sauce was nice and spicy but the chicken was shit and rubbery and the pepper jack cheese was still very cold so it was a horrible mix of temps and textures. Fries still slapped at least.
It ain’t my fault they can’t make a decent burger. Should have known better when everyone that talks up Whataburger sings the praises of the ketchup and the chicken biscuit. Their burgers were garbage. Should change their name to Whataketchup.
The chicken biscuit sucks. Stupid dry. I've tried it 10 times bc it's sounds good but it's just not. The spicy ketchup is good. I use it at home now. Burger is good imo but not anything amazing. Checkers is still the best fast food to me. I realize that's an unpopular opinion but the burgers have great flavor and the spicy chicken is the best non-Popeyes out there imo.
