Since a lot of them share space with KFC, I’m just going to assume they are KFC wings in a Taco Bell box.
I am sure these fast food chains try and test all sorts of foods. but those don't look good and seem unlikely to stick around the menu.
So everyone knows the Popeyes chicken sandwich beats the CFA chicken sandwich… BUT! Have we discussed the PDQ chicken sandwich in this thread? It’s a contender.
Town where I work is 25 square miles and has a population of like 30ish thousand people. We just got our second Popeyes. 2 popeyes 4 cfas 3 zaxbys Scoville hot chicken Super chix Guthry's Korean fried chicken place I think we've reached total saturation.
I miss Guthrie’s (sp?) much better than zaxby’s. Little better than canes. Never had slim chickens, which I see out here
We have 2 CFA’s, 2 KFC’s, 1 Canes, 1 Wingstop, 1 Bogangles and a Slim Chickens all within a half mile of each other. That’s not even counting the sit down places like Buffalo Wild Wings, Roosters and Winking Lizard. I have no idea how they all stay open. They’re opening a Popeyes, but of course it’s downtown and the farthest from me.
Within 20 minutes of my house there's everything listed plus a churches, two Bojangles, 3 KFC's and a bunch more cfa/Popeyes/Zaxby's. It's kind of insane.
We have all of that except Church's pretty close. Church's is probably 30 minutes away, far enough you can't really get it to go and expect it to still be fresh and warm when you get home. Sucks bc it's really good. Probably prefer their breast/thigh more than anywhere else.
Near me, we've got Church's Popeyes Canes KFC Dave's Hot Chicken CFA Slim Chickens Bon Chon Local Korean Fried Chicken Place Bird Call (local to Denver) Tons of Popeyes + Canes in Denver.
We have a Raising Canes and a Chick-fil-A both under construction on the same block. CFA construction seems to be moving twice as fast.
There’s about a half dozen Korean fried chicken places on the main road in the Asian neighborhood by me. Always a welcomed reprieve/option to all the classic American spots.
Got a Huey Magoo’s near me. Pretty dang elite if I do say so myself. May put them ahead of canes tenders because they are a better price and have much better sauces.
i tried to order a breast and wing dinner for lunch at bojangles today and they said it would be 20 mins. i said no problem i will just take a bo sandwich and they said “no we mean all chicken products are a 20 min wait” what the hell was i supposed to order there? a spaghetti plate?
this local bojangles is insane. they’re either out of everything or if they aren’t they just give you a ton of food got a breast dinner and a bo sandwich for everyone the other night and they gave me an extra breast and extra sandwich free of charge they’re leaning into the popeyes model and i am appreciative
We got a bucket of chicken the other night from there and I downed 2 Bo-berry biscuits with extra icing like it was nothing.
Is this still the Filet-O-Fishial fish sandwich thread? The ridiculousness of lent brings out the limited edition fish sandwiches. What’s good this season?
