Drive through wasn’t working so I called inside and they said they “were running behind and would be open at 2.” Now I know why I never come here. Not happy with my new chicken overlords so far.
My wife wanted to try one so I went and grabbed us lunch. I still can’t get past the non spicy patty. She felt the same way. Not as good as CFA. Sorry guys but that’s the final verdict. CFA still the best chicken sandwich.
Sucks but not surprising. I don't think they could anticipate the increase in business like this. They aren't great in execution to begin with. Increase sales by 10x and it was bound to be a disaster. But go back at 2.
CFA isn't spicy either. To each their own but I prefer the non-spicy Popeyes to CFA. Add the spicy sauce and whoo boy.

Popeyes has neither good nor bad service, it's like roulette Sometimes you'll end up getting an extra fry and a biscuit. Other times you'll be missing your red beans and rice. But it evens out

I have not yet tried this and I hope it is as good as advertised. I have a real soft spot for CFA because they used to give free sandwiches at ND tailgates and added in a coupon for another. Hard to shake that memory, and I love Popeyes.

I'm honestly surprised they are using sauce to heat things up and not going with the already elite spicy tender formula they have. I'm still gonna like it. No pickles though.
Quick google research says 480 calories for the sandwich. Not the end of the world if you watching what you eat.
PDQ is owned by the same company who runs Outback, so their sandwich is probably 1200 calories. They closed the one here in Mobile, replaced it with a Cookout
