Had a PDQ chicken sandwich for the first time this week. Give me it over Popeyes and CFA.

 

I did recently have PDQ tenders in Raleigh and enjoyed them.

 

Big fan of the Popeye's spicy sandwich but it needs crunch, first one I got had lettuce and was great. 2nd one had no lettuce a few weeks later and wasn't as good.

 

Hate to tell you, but you got a counterfeit the first time.

 

The breading is the crunch and all that’s ever been on the sandwich is pickles and mayo.

 

Lettuce would besmirch the sandwich.

I was surprised how much extra they gave me. Plenty for the sandwich and then some for the fries.

This has been known to add lettuce to sandwiches.

 

He might have also had a big bowl of chili for lunch before getting the sandwich.

It’s January 10, 2020, and the Popeye’s chicken sandwich has yet to appear in the Des Moines market. I’m beginning to fear the worst. On the plus-side, this is helpful with my diet.

I always forget how shitty their app is. Showed up after paying online...no sandwiches. So I've got a shit ton of tenders and chicken.

 

You may get them in a side cup instead of in sandwich but they're still good.

 

Stopped in for some blackened tenders and they said equipment for sandwiches is about two weeks out. Wild.

 

Had my first sandwich in a while today. It was good.
