How long would it take a minimum wage worker to get another minimum wage job? Someone should do a social experiment. I'd think to some degree it would be proportional to the amount of effort they put into it, and what they were willing to do. Agree that the Whopper is the best fast food burger out there. I haven't had one in years though.
On my way back from Huntsville and stopped at the Popeyes in Gurley, Al. They had 3 left. Eat your mfing hearts out
Hey man if someone steals my pic of this pristine chicken sandwich to use for their own internet fame they're gonna at least have to crop that bitch. Gotta make'em work for it.
I didn’t mean to thread police, sorry. I just don’t know how people go in circles with him over and over and over again. Was trying to save you some sanity. Disregard.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that based on your response you think it would be difficult for a Popeyes minimum wage employee to get another minimum wage job?
With the impending Hurricane coming to Florida I think all Popeye's should send their remaining chicken sandwiches to a safer location. Like the 2 popeyes in my town. Thnx
Just got back from Popeye's. First trip there in probably a decade, and I quickly remembered why I never go. When I first got there, I started to walk into the restroom but had to immediately back out and dry heave. There was an actual turd sitting on top of the toilet seat. That did a number on my senses and made my meal much less enjoyable. They were out of the chicken sandwich, so I ordered spicy chicken tenders, fries, red beans and rice, a biscuit, and an iced tea. Had a sauce assortment that included blackened ranch, mardi gras mustard, sweet heat, bayou buffalo, and ketchup. The chicken strips were good, not great. Certainly better than KFC or Church's but not as good as Bojangles or Chicken Express. Fries were OK, but I prefer Chick-Fil-A's and Bojangles'. Just a matter of preference The biscuit was very average, even by fast food standards. Bojangles is infinitely better in this regard Red beans and rice were fantastic. Best fast food rice or beans dish I've ever had They neglected to tell me the ice machine was broken when I made my order. For that reason alone, the iced tea and service both get Fs. As a self-proclaimed sauce connoisseur, I was very disappointed in the dipping sauces. Bayou buffalo was awful. Worst buffalo sauce I've ever had. I can't shake the after-taste. Mardi gras mustard was OK but not really a good pairing for the chicken strips. Blackened ranch was good, not great. I think I liked the sweet heat the most. I found myself dipping the strips in the ketchup more than anything, which is not a good sign. There were two patrons in the dining room as I dined. One was sitting in a weird yoga-like position on the stool and smacked his lips as he ate; the other was a panhandler, who hit me up mid bite. The TV in the dining room was showing CNBC's Closing Bell, which was nice. Dining room ambiance gets a D. All in all, I don't see myself going back except to try the chicken sandwich.
Who eats inside a Popeyes? It goes Drive Thru > Order > Please pull up cause we out of spicy > Wait 10-15 minutes while dicking around on your phone > Finally someone brings you your food > You go home and enjoy the crunchy in peace.
Stopped by Popeyes yesterday to see if they had any sandwiches, all out. Wanted to try the blackened tendies... The service was sooooooo slow. Did have to pull into a parking spot to wait on my fresh tendies. I also wanted a 3pc of mixed spicy, and mashed potatoes. I ended up with spicy tenders instead of the mix, but they gave me 5 as well as 5 blacked (only ordered 3). BUT I was given beans & rice instead of potatoes. Blackened tenders were really good. Still think they need to make the sandwich with their spicy breading, it's so good.
fried chicken, mac, and mash together is hard to mess up. However, KFC’s bread is really bad. Ruins any shot at ever having a good sandwich.
