Coming up on our one year anniversary as Portland residents. Going to Astoria for the weekend. Unrelated question, are there any (good) waterfront bars downtown? Or hell, even on Lake Oswego?
the best waterfront places are actually on the columbia. i can't think of many that are on the willamette. the best is hanging at the pool/lawn at wavery country club but that's an entirely different experience than a regular bar and not something that you can just decide to do on a saturday morning. you also need to know people who can get you in.
I'll be there at the end of the month for the first time. What's the best breweries near the Pearl District?
Below are a few spots other than the typical 10 Barrel, Deschutes and Rogue suggestions. http://www.vonebertbrewing.com/ https://breakside.com/our_location/slabtown-pub-brewery/ https://greatnotionpdx.com/nwbrewpub https://www.backwoodsbrewingcompany.com/backwoodsinthepearl Tap house https://www.beeroclockpdx.com/
It’s a little out of your way but my favorite spot is Little Beast on Division St on the the East side.
Portland 2017 Portland 2019 If it weren't for tax free goodies we'd build a wall to keep Oregonians out. Sorry if the truth hurts little brother. Blazers Suck!
I don't think anyone is going to blame this asylum seeking family for not wanting to live in Oregon, it's just not safe.
It's a lengthy process but I have the steps down pat. If there's any snags it's trying to get two pics cropped to the same size in MSPaint. Fucking nightmare.
i went into the downtown location last time I was in town and was stunned that type of shop, that size, that location, was still in business
