This is actually a fact.
After considering moving there last year and coming back here early since it wasn't as good I have to say no.
i feel like austin, boulder, portland are all on teh same level
living in Salem (Portland's illegitimate love child) I try and get up there whenever I can...that city is dope
but not as dope as State College, PA
Those shots of Mount Hood make me can't wait to get up there
No American city > my city.
nah, but these asn chicks are hot..
Please amend thread title to "Portland, OR > your city (unless you're from Charleston, SC)."
Cannot find a way to disagree. And when I order a coke, I get a coke, not a question.
Been to all three and I would say Boulder>Austin>>>Portland
Savannah > Charleston
But portland is nice..If you take away the massive hippy contingent and the ridiculous litter laws.
Portland is infested with hipsters. I'm thinking about buying a load of old shitty bikes, driving across the country in a u-haul and sell them for $200 bucks to those hip faggets.
Seriously though, portland is pretty cool
miss it so much already
Highest per capita of neck beards in the country
portland always seemed like a dirty seattle to me.
Portland is my second favorite after San Francisco
This would apply to austin as well.
Fun town to party in though.
you can't swing a dead cat in Portland without hitting a strip club.....plus Voodoo Doughnuts are the shit
of course Nittany Lion fans don't need to frequent strip clubs since they are always banging 10's on the reg
Seattle is way more dirty
You fuckin crazy if you think Portland is dirtier than Seattle.
Lol savannah is not better than charleston
Lol yea It is. I actually lived in both places.
Hard to dispute that at the moment.
You're the only person who has ever said that. My dad lived in both places. My dad>some dude on the internet who claims to be wrongly arrested and hunted by drug dealers twice a week
Never been to Portland, or Boulder for that matter, but I really like Austin and Portland reminds me of Austin quite a bit with the exception of the weather

lol west coast thinking they're good at anything.
Living on a square surrounded by Spanish moss >
And I love Charleston but Savannah has so much more charm.
We have that in charleston...
Savannah is more of a walking city too. People walking outside at night having a good time. They are different things. Savannah has more of an old world European feel and Charleston a little more modern.
The amount of cockroaches in Savannah is awful though. The place I lived was a row house built in 1883 and they would come up through the holes in the floor. Had to put corks in the spots to keep them out. Taking a walk down River Street at 10 and getting oysters is unbeatable.
You obviously didn't leave anywhere decent in charleston. There are people walking up and down a good number of streets all the time
06/11/08 Manhattan, KS Tornado (Incredible sky cam footage)
totally meant to post this
Visit Manhattan Kansas
the tornado video is cool too tho
Seattle and Bellingham say no. Yakima says buenas dias jotos.
In reality, fuck you but true.
I honestly felt like there were homeless people EVERYWHERE in seattle
Least Coast < Best Coast
Being someone that travels to both Savannah and Charleston on the reg I have to say that Charleston is the better city. It has plenty of Old South charm that is mixed in well with the modern. You can walk the market area and King St and the chick ratio is top shelf
Radio show guy here in Dallas moved from Portland a few months ago. Gavin Dawson has commented multiple times how he enjoy's the Dallas night life >>> Portland's
What is there to do in Portland?
Jesus Christ talk about two polar opposite cities nightlife wise. Dallas is full of 50K millionaires that keep Express afloat and Portland is full of hipsters that try their hardest to keep American Apparel afloat, that's like an apples to steak comparison.
Same thing happens to me where I live.
chicago is in the discussion for best city in the country but its obviously a lot bigger than portland and austin
I grew up in Portland & it is a great city.
Ski a half day at Meadows & be at the coast in time for dinner at Gearhard GC?
Best small cities = Boulder, Portland, Austin, Savannah, Charleston, San Antonio...
