Anybody down for doing like a 20-25 team draft with players from EPL, La Liga, Serie A, and Bundesliga. Basically first 20 or so people that want to do it. I have an idea or two for order of picks. Snake style draft. We would just draft for a starting 11 and the pool of players to pick from come from those for leagues. You would have to use a typical formation for your starting 11. We could just have a goal of doing a round a day. Will take a while but could be kind of fun to see what teams we would all end up with. You wouldn't have a specific team. just us as posters doing a draft for a starting 11 and seeing what we end up with.
I'm similiar. I know the EPL well and most good players from other teams but not real deep, especially bundesliga

wouldn't need to be. Yea it would go faster but we have done this back in the day on rivals with recruits. Say I was to pick first and your second. I would say I pick Messi. Then you would be up next so next time you are own and check the thread and see it's your turn then you would pick. It's gonna take awhile but it's not for fantasy or anything and the board isn't going anywhere so it may be worth trying. There are routinely 15-20 people that are around here a good amount anyways. so if we limited it to them then we could definitely do one round a day. If someone knows they are so many picks away they will have more reason to check the board every once in a while and see if they are up yet.
And people could give a big board to the person picking behind them if they are going to be gone for an extended period of time.
I will when I see who all wants in. I will keep the names in the OP here and then once it's all ready I will start a new thread for it that can be pinned while we do this. I will least each team from the four leagues and when a player is picked I will put there name next to their current squad in the OP so someone could quickly check and see if someone that want has already been picked.
If someone was going to be up soon and had 3-4 players in mind they could PM me or chile with the order they would pick them in for that turn and we would make the pick for them.
My idea for picking the order is to do something like this. If we can get it ready by next week. Then everyone in it would pick the total number of goals scored in all the CL and Europa league games combined. then the order would be closest to farthest. There would have to be a tie breaker with that also for those that are the same distance away for pick the same number. If there are any other ideas you guys got throw them out.
Welp I'm last. Also there are a couple newbies on here who aren't in their pick'em don't discriminate. hehe
If anyone wants in that isn't in the pickem that wouldn't work. We would also have to have a tie breaker because there are def. gonna be people with the same scores.
I could always set up a fantasy football draft on yahoo (only goes up to 20). Set up the draft for say early next week. Everyone goes there signs up. It does a randomize order for that draft. Whatever the randomize order is for that we use. I will then just make the league a deadline where everyone gets 0 pts for every week.
There has to be some sort of online randomizer program (dont know if correct terminology) or something like that.

I've done one of these on another site, really fun. I'd say instead of just using the leagues mentioned, just have every active player eligible.
whatever the consensus is, works for me. My only thinking was if someone picks people from like Korea, Argentina leagues, etc. At the end of it all I may look at someones roster and not know 3 of them so it makes it kind of hard to compare.
That's true, but if we do 20+ teams I doubt most people would recognize all the names regardless of league
