I had one that I loved but it wore a hole in the elbow pretty damn quickly. I did wear it a ton though because I liked it so much.
Anyone have any experience with the iRobot Roomba 980? It’s super expensive but apparently amazing. I’ve seen nothing but positive reviews saying it’s worth the money, but most come from women and I don’t trust them.
Have the 960 which is apparently exactly the same but it's got a smaller battery. It's amazing. My wife still loses her shit over coming home to clean floors. 10/10 would buy again.
I've got the 600 series. We have two cats and a dog and picks up a shit ton of fur. Problem is my house is small and cramped and there's always shit on the floor.
Nice. I have a lot of hardwood and carpet transitions and rugs on my hardwoods so there’s some slight elevations to overcome which is why I’ve been told the 900 series is the way to go.
have the 980 and we like it. the super power mode for carpets is A LOT we still have new rugs and it was pulling out all the loose fibers so it was filling up fast before it could finish the floor ha. good and bad, we just turned off that mode. But we are all wood floors, with several rugs and it transitions well. only had it about a month so don't have a full review for ya, but overall we are happy not vacuuming all the damn time so we definitely like it
Got a new bookcase at an auction. It replaces one of my two particle board bookcases. The remaining particle board bookcase is the last piece of particle board furniture that I own. Almost feel like I'm grown.
Auctioneers said it's mahogany, but I'm not sure whether it's solid mahogany or some other hardwood with mahogany veneers. Haven't figured out the manufacturer yet. No markings anywhere (including the bottom--I checked). I thought it resembled some bookcases made by Hooker Furniture, but they responded to my email today saying it wasn't theirs.
depends on what kind you’re looking for. For basic cotton polos I like my j crew ones, and they have held up well.
It’s alright, nothing mind blowing. If you have little kids or animals check the rooms it operates in before you let it loose. Not being able to send these things anywhere to be serviced, or being able to take it apart yourself to clean, is retarded and makes me not recommend the expensive ones. If you have toddlers who are gonna spill milk or some mushed peas on the floor or a dog/cat that might piss/shit/puke somewhere, it’s def not worth it. Buy the off brand off amazon for when it inevitably runs through aforementioned mess and is ruined.
Thanks for this. We don't have any pets or children. My wife and I both work full time and would like to splurge so it's one less thing to do around the house. Basically, we're lazy.
do you have any furniture or rugs or literally anything on the ground? if so i would not recommend pretty good device for people with levitating furniture though
We do have rugs and furniture. The nicer models supposedly overcome rugs and outmaneuver stationary furniture with ease.
We should play some more...there's been a lot of updates and the old Age of Empires I game was redone and put out in a remastered version.
For the record I eventually murdered my roomba in a similar fashion to the pc load letter printer in ‘Office Space’ Hated that thing
Have a couple of the summer comfort or whatever they are called. Problem I have is that my chest hair kinda pricks out into the shirts so you see all these little bumps in the fabric. Have this issue with all polos with that fabric. Anyone else have that issue?
Peter Millar is #1 for me, but for casual shirts I also really like B Draddy and the Ralph Lauren vintage lisle.
75% of my wardrobe are summer comforts. I notice this from time to time but I just kind of ignore it.
Dang, that’s some manly chest hair that you got there. Maybe try this: “Try using a mixture of pure coconut oil and almond oil. Avocado, tea tree, castor, rosemary, lavender, olive, and argan oil may also help soften your hair. Consider treating your hair to a deep conditioning with hot oil once a week. Use natural oils like rosemary and lavender.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.wikihow.com/Have-Soft-Hair?amp=1 Or you can go all the way:
Made a few recent purchases. So it’s pretty much official now, I’m a Filson fan boy. I picked up this first one brand new on eBay. Filson no longer makes them. They came in black and dark brown, with the latter going for a good bit more it seems. The seller listed it as black but the item details said dark brown. Couldn’t tell from the pics. I took a chance, figuring I could return if it was black due to wrong item details (maybe a dick move, but I would’ve done it). Seller accepted my offer after a couple of days, a good bit less than what they were asking. I had seen dark brown bags go for more than the seller’s asking price recently, so I think listing it as black in the title hurt. Ended up paying about half of retail. The bag is indeed dark brown. I love it. Makes me feel like Atticus Finch. Or two Atticus Finchs, considering my weight. Spoiler: Filson Field Satchel This I got for a carryon from Zappos on a pretty good discount (I’ve never paid full price for anything Filson). All my luggage is Filson now. Spoiler: Filson Pullman Also got these for coffee. I had one of the taller ones, and then I set it down and forgot it for a couple hours at the mailboxes at my apartment last week and some son of a bitch walked off with it. Bought a new one at Orvis, and I saw the one with the handle. So I use the taller one during the weekdays and the handle one on the weekends. And I love dat sea foam green. Spoiler: Yeti Tumbler & Mug
