On my third one. Love the thing, hence buying it three times. Disclaimer: Don't drop it, it will break. I'm bald and shave every day so I got more than adequate use out of my two that broke. I did not experience any mechanical issues with them otherwise, just changed the blades and it chugged.
I’m really bald like I look like I have a disease if I don’t shave bald. Guards get tossed immediately, sorry.
I’ve never used the guards. I have a beard trimmer I use to keep whatever I keep tidy. This one blade is the tits when it comes to a close but not uncomfortable shave, and it doesn’t miss spots.
They work for their intended purpose, but there isn't one that suits the length I like to keep my beard personally. Speaking of which, anyone know of a top tier beard trimmer that isn't over say $70?
Lot of fairly recent chatter about Apple AirPods. One site has them for $140 and free shipping. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen them (although that doesn’t mean much). https://slickdeals.net/f/11622875-apple-airpods-139-99-tax-free-shipping

Just ordered some new Allbirds because I've worn my old ones so much that they have virtually no tread left on the bottom anymore. I was the first person I know who bought them after I read about them in a GQ article two years ago and was very smuggy about it. Really wanted to avoid ordering new ones so I could continue to rock the first editions, but after repeatedly almost wiping out in them in even slightly slick conditions, it had to be done. Say what you want about Teva as a brand, but I've owned several pairs of their Mush & Mush II flip flops over the years and they're consistently good--only $25 as well. Spoiler Spoiler They typically have a variety of webbing choices as well, depending on how heady you are
Har har. I’m trying to maximize my boardwalk cruising capabilities this summer and they look pretty fun.
I bought some Reef flip flops in Vegas because that was the only brand they had in my size and they've been the most comfortable flip flops I've ever owned. I'd never heard of them before and don't know if they're shitty, but I like them. They were like $75 though
Scott's are the GOAT but are hard to find locally here. I knew flip flops were serious business when I saw some at Hermes for $350 and the fuckers were rubber all the way around. I laughed walked out, went next door and got an edward scissorhands haircut that my ex paid way to much for. I felt fancy.
Just bought these ... they are on sale for $35 regularly $85. https://www.joesnewbalanceoutlet.com/product/mrl420-v2/mrl420wb
Those are my idea of a top-tier flip flop. The fact the company will repair them if needed is a huge selling point for me. I appreciate your post.
I have had all whites before ... for $35 I'll take my chances. Plus they have other colors for the same price if you are worried about stains.
Speaking of, is there any special way to wash shoes so they don't fall apart or better way to remove stains?
I want to grab a pair of those NB, but I don't know what size in NB I am. I wear an 11 in Nike to run in and an 11.5 in shoes I wear around. Anyone have a size conversion to NB for me? Tia.
Just an FYI with Joes they cant change or edit an order ever, and while they take returns you pay shipping. So dont fuck it up.
Generally, I can stick with the same size across the board for NB and Nike, though for both brands sometimes a half size bigger or larger may fit better with some models.
True. IF you know what you want/need hard to beat if you like New Balance. If it wasn't for my athletic department signing with Nike, I would buy all my sneakers from Joe's. I'll still buy some since the Nike contract doesn't apply to what I wear in the office, only on game days and if I am representing the school off-campus, which is almost never.
This was the last NB I bought off there. They don't have the color I bought anymore, but I have really enjoyed the shoe. https://www.joesnewbalanceoutlet.com/product/ml501-t/ml501hxa
This feels like the premise of an onion post Breaking news: all white shoes touch ground, receive stains
