Got TV set up— not exactly thrilled with the quality as I’m flipping between football games.

Do you guys have recommended settings to tweak? Just doesn’t look sharp compared to my Samsung this is replacing.

Amazon once delivered me four little open-window keychain thingies where you can write things such as “these are my keys” or “this key opens this door” instead of the four SD cards I actually ordered. I was pretty pissed off. They refunded my money but the SD cards were no longer available.

I did get some terrible gardening glove that the keychains were stuffed into, so overall it was a win.

 

Were the SD cards sold directly by Amazon or someone else?

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, unfortunately. Had a couple of planned fishing trips fall through.

Other than that, it seems really sturdy. Big fan of the accessories that were included with it and I'm happy I didn't blow the extra $200 for the Yeti.

 

Did you use exact settings? First time calibrating (I have the TCL S517) and wasn’t sure if those settings are best for viewing or just for their testing purposes.

 

Thanks, will play around more tonight. I noticed last night that that once I tuned the settings for their baseline recs (adjusted brightness up as well), that shows/movies looked great - and then simply switching to sports mode for football, it made that look way better than base settings (if that makes sense).
