I guess I was mistaken when I said the cloud was at home, apologies. The system is awesome and they're supposedly adding a doorbell cam shortly. Have had no problems and got it relatively cheaply through some deal several months back.
Unless you destroyed the outside leather or wore through the bottom sole you know those insoles are replaceable, right? They sell them on the website. On sale right now actually. http://www.ugg.com/twinsole-set/1008947.html#q=insole&start=1&cgid= I've found that if I put a cedar sachet inside them (and all my shoes I don't have a tree in for that matter) they seem to stay fluffy as the cedar removes moisture completely inhibiting the presence of funk in the process. You can find those things ass cheap on sites like Wish or Zulily. My wife buys me mine as my foot funk can be deadly if not kept in check
Schott factory sale was this weekend. Anybody who's followed this thread for a while knows how much I love this sale every year. This was a down year (for me) as they used a lot of their floor space and best deals for their nylon jackets. Didn't walk away empty handed though. Casual Weekend Pebbled Cowhide Leather Jacket. Been eyeing it on the website for a while Reg. $640 down to $250. Feel like I stole it. An exceptionally attractive woman in her mid-20s held this one up for her boyfriend who dismissed it as "an old man jacket". I'm an old man. I love it. Got my son the Nylon Flight Jacket in grey. He asked for burgundy or grey but they didn't have any burgundy in stock without all the military patches all over it so he got a clean grey. Reg. $195 down to $80. I collect these things like a lot of you guys collect sneakers. I just have to wait for once a year to get my jollies.
Anything you don't like about it? I like the Echo Plus too, it has a built in hub for some smart home stuff, but I know the speaker isn't as good (i assume). Trying to decide between the two. Sonos one is on sale right now for $20 off.
I love all my Sonos products, I've been using my google hub for voice controls more than Alexa lately - so not a Sonos problem at all, and will be awesome when Sonos starts working with Google. I just find Google easier to use than Alexa.
bought it because we moved to a climate that requires it basically, works well, quiet, refill once a day. in an apartment though so not sure if it'd be appropriate for a house
Tell me why I would need Bluetooth on these speakers? I know the One and Echo Plus do not have Bluetooth. Can I still control what is playing on the speaker via an app on my phone or is it all strictly voice control?
Yes I have a Playbase, Sub, and two Play 1's and control music either directly from the Sonos app or Spotify app.
Anyone got a recommendation for a calligraphy pen/set? Wife wants to get back into it and thinking of getting her one as an added gift for Christmas.
I have an Echo+, it definitely has Bluetooth along with the built in smart hub. Unless my Echo+ is already outdated but I bought it earlier this year I think.
Sure enough. Jesus Christ my Echo+ is already outdated - mine is hard plastic cylinder style, not the newer cloth cover.
Ordered a jersey for Christmas. Package was supposedly dropped off at my house. No package. Was told to talk to lasership?
already posted in it's own thread but JIC. What is the best "wireless 5.1 surround sound system" likely would be best with a soundbar? I know that it'd be better to have a wired surround sound with AV receiver but that freaks my wife out (the wires). I am mainly looking at the Bose soundbar 700 with 700 sub and 2 surround speakers or Sonos Playbar or beam with play:1's or 5's and sub or samsung n950 I think the Axxim towers are beyond what I will be "allowed" to put in the room I'll be hooking it up to a 65" Vizio q65 and xbox one x in a ~ 20x20 bedroom ? any other wireless solutions Any advice or other suggestions?
