no idea, I'm hoping so. Reviews were decent enough so I just went with it for $15. 30 day return so if it sucks I'll just send it back
Bought a Q5 with a 3.0 V6 myself 2 weeks ago. Thing is a lot of fun to drive for what is basically an SUV.
Question: Does anybody have any familiarity with "internet adapters" (or some other name)? Something you plug into the USB on your computer to give you access to internet virtually anywhere in the world? Does such a thing even exist? I want to say I've seen people use them abroad. Looking for something I can plug into my work computer while I'm abroad and still have good internet access/send and receive emails/etc.
Maybe? I have a new Iphone that can be it's own hotspot, but I've only used it sparingly. I assume for something stronger I'd have to pay a monthly service fee
Yeah, I have one of the old verizon bricks, but I do not know if it's international. It works well anywhere you'd have cell service. I think this would be what you're looking for: https://www.verizonwireless.com/int...osrc=cse.google.USB730L&cvo_crid=198345139852
Got it, thanks. I'll look into that. That;s encouraging. Do you pay a monthly fee, like with a cell phone, so that it has service anywhere there's cell service? Maybe if I switch out the simcard for the country I'm in. I remember specifically being in bumfuck Africa, this Chinese guy pulls out a laptop, plugs something into his USB, and checks his email in some tiny village.
I bet that the one I linked is the kind of thing that he was using. There may be some equivalent that runs through satellite rather than cellular. But, yes, you are going to be paying a monthly fee either way.
Pretty much my thought. I didn't need it but it's a better price than Black Friday so I pulled the trigger
I had the older model in my amazon wish list for about a year now and missed it on black Friday when it went down to $55ish. So don't need it at all, but will be nice to have.
Based on my 10 minutes of research this looks to be the best: http://www.skyroam.com/solis No contract, you just pay $9.99/day that you need internet.
Welp. After a car wreck tonight wife’s Camry is totaled. Hit right on rear driver side door, right where my son was sitting. Everyone is fine but shook up a bit. Sooooo looks like I will have a Camry/accord/tlx (Acura) to add in the next week. Hopefully we get a good amount for the old car, but I doubt it. any advice for negotiations with insurance over the settlement for the car?
JMO but I think you should always wear undershirts if you work around young women or at a school. Preferably crew necks. I am thankful I hardly ever have to look my sharpest
I always recommend using your own carrier, provided you have rental and collision coverage. Your insurance company has an interest in keeping you happy and continuing to pay premiums. If you work with a local agent, even better. He or she will really want to keep your business. Once you agree on a value, your carrier will subrogate or be reimbursed by at fault carrier. If there was a deductible withheld, it will be refunded to you once liability carrier reimburses your carrier.
What is Tmb advice for whether of not I should get an attorney? No injuries and I believe other party will be at fault.
If there is any question at all whether anyone is hurt, go to Dr. now and hire an attorney. Doesn't sound like your case is worth much but you could still pocket some cash. Do you have health insurance? What state do you live in?
I have ATT I get 4g and usually LTE in most countries (I’ve been to some under developed ones and still had signal). All the data you can use 10 dollar a day.
4 shirts for $80ish, not bad. These are the Tailored Fit No Iron Supima Pinpoint, great shirts for the money. Got 2 more coupon uses for 40% off your total at Land's End, includes Sale/Clearance too. Let me know if anyone wants the code.
Anybody know any discount codes for Peter Millar? I'm about to order some of their summer comfort dress shirts for work.
You guys should be buying State and Liberty dress shirts. Awesome fit, great material, wrinkle resistant, and you can machine wash them.
A regular quality cotton shirt feels like burlap on your skin after wearing these shirts. You won’t be disappointed.
Agreed. That's why I like the Peter Millar summer comfort line. State & Liberty shirts look just as nice and are $40+ less expensive.
Sorry I only buy $100 dress shirts. Sometimes I’ll even staple a hundo to the front just so people know. Most of the time I remember to take the bill off before disposing of said shirt after its first wear. Most of the time.
