Also, make sure your system is not a "communicating" system. I encountered this issue in my new home the other day. Previous homeowner installed a new lennox system in 2018 and it is considered a proprietary communicating system and it will not work with any 3rd party thermostats unless you do some serious workarounds and then after that the actual system wont even work correctly. The telltale sign for me was when I took the thermostat down there was an i+ and i- wire.
Any reason why? I like the look of the Nest better than the Ecobee but the Ecobee seems to regularly get better reviews. I think that's mainly because of the remote sensors.
Does Tmb have a go to "tennis" shoe? I don't want to wade into the the shoe thread and get told to buy AF1's or some shit. New job has me on my feet walking the floor a lot more. It's a hyper clean CNC shop so I don't need boots or anything, and I keep good shoes under my desk for meetings, etc. Just looking for something hyper comfortable, leaning ultraboosts, but open to anything.
I would highly suggest some Nike Epic React Flyknit 2s. You can use the code SEASONMVP to get some on the really cheap. I put 100,000 steps in my pair at Disney World last week over 4 days and could have kept going. All my other weak family members were begging for a break. Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 Men's Running Shoe https://nike.app.link/W0TxdD5t21 16 different colors.
Ordered these just because $75 and they had a 12.5. Never done shoes online. Now I am browsing Nike.com, this may get expensive.
Take a look at these. A little high on the price point but you get what you pay for. A. Testoni footwear innovatively combines ancient and contemporary Italian design techniques to make shoes that demonstrate master level Italian craftsmanship. Every shoe is strictly handcrafted with no hesitation in using the highest quality materials along with including elaborate detailing for style.
I got some Cole Haan loafers with zero grand technology recently and can vouch. They’re the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
Ordering both the On Clouds and the Haans, Really like these https://www.colehaan.com/zerogrand-...E6uNKfCSqRGiLFMLNBO2nm4rq9aoNVd0aAumMEALw_wcB It was time to load up on shoes again.
Yeah it might. Hope you enjoy them. I love my pair. Getting another probably today just trying to decide on the colorway.
Skipped the On Clouds for now, got the NIkes, and some Haan zerogrand hiking boots and chukkas. jplaYa went with the these
I don’t use the remote sensors anymore. I didn’t find they did much for me. I feel the construction of the nest is so much better than the ecobee. The ecobee feels cheap and the non voice controls are more clunky.
Neat has remote sensors now but you have to buy them separately. They also don’t sense humidity which is annoying.
I stumble upon something to weld once or twice a year. I'll find any excuse to buy a tool or equipment. Only a couple mowable acres. Needed a new mower because the old one will get relocated to the riverfront property for five acres of duty.
Seems like you guys aren’t familiar with burnttatertot and his ability to buy expensive things for no real reason besides yolo.
I work with a couple of guys that don't know what to do with their money so they buy zero-turn mowers for their 0.3 acre lot (they still have to push mow a few areas) and a 20" Stihl chainsaw because they have 2 trees that may need trimming. Congratulations, you saved your self 15 minutes.
I've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years now All the lots are 3/4 acre or bigger and everyone has riding mowers I upgraded to a ZTR about a year and a half ago and maybe one other guy in the neighborhood had one Since then I swear there are 20 of them around here now
I replaced my nest with an ecobee and it was a great decision. Nests don’t have a “hold” feature, which is absurd.
I enjoy the yard work honestly. Not that I’m filthy but I’d probably buy a 90 inch deck before I paid anyone to mow my yard.
not sure why anyone would shame anyone about yard work. Some people enjoy it, some people hate it and can afford to pay someone.
I pay someone to mow my lawn. I derive great pleasure from maintaining my flower beds and vegetable gardens. I find mowing to be menial and boring.
I like mowing my years because it is the only two hours of peace and quiet I get most weeks. I drag that shit out as long as I can
