Any phone experts on here? It's time to move on from my old iphone 6. Cracked screen, lacking storage space, swear apple is slowing it down purposely with updates... I'm currently taking advantage of my parents family plan and paying them about half of what my phone bill should be so opening a new line/switching providers is out of the question. Have always had iPhones and like the privacy features > droid. I'd assume the iPhone 11 is the way to go? Do these things ever go on sale? Appreciate it.
I think Apple had some black friday "sales" where you'd get a gift card for buying a new phone. New iPhones basically never go on sale. I have the 11 Pro and am pretty happy with it.

My family's iphones are all refurbished bought from Amazon. I've had nothing but good experiences doing this, they look brand new. Skip the 7, it has issues.

I'm not sure how big a difference there is between an 8 and 11, I don't think there is much in as how most people use their phone. I have an 8 and I'm pretty happy with it, it's not much different than a 6
If you care about taking photos with your phone, the camera (and software) on the iPhone 11 Pro is fantastic. Huge improvement in low light photos.
Logitech MX series master race assemble Baron I am using the 2015 MX Master as my daily driver, but came into the fold with the 2006 MX Revolution as my first in the series. 13 years later it is soo dirty but I still have/use it on a backup pc. The darn thing won't break down for me to have a reason to trash it. logitech doesn't have a recycle/upcycle/trade in sadly I want the MX Master 3 w/ usb c and the new wheel but have no reason since my 2015 is in such good shape.

Looks great Name P. Redacted . How much did your set run you for? We added a Pottery Barn set to our cart on Cyber Monday and Queen + 2 Nightstands + XL Dresser + Upright chest was mid $4000s? We are early stages planning and really only looked there because we have over $1000 in GC from our wedding. I'd want to have great confidence in it's durability before dropping that much cash.

That’s expensive as fuck, almost $1,000 per piece of furniture. I’d put the $1,000 towards specialty items and outlandish shit I couldn’t justify buying and would never purchase were it not for the gift card. It’s the spirit of the gift card. Hunt up the items you listed in antique stores, nextdoor, Craigslist, estate sales etc...only pay retail as a last resort.
Agreed it is expensive but it's the first set as a married couple we aren't gonna mix from nextdoor etc. We already have a mixed and well loved set. We also have 20% off, and 15% cb and $1000 gc to bring the price back to reasonable.

I am fortunate enough to be able to afford buying at retail (at sale price which is still expensive) and it makes the whole process easy because it matches, is new, and they delivered and set it all up. I hear it, there’s something to be said for stroking a check and having the shit taken care of, it’s nice to have the option. We were lucky to be able to furnish a good portion of our house with family antiques/hand me downs. I’m an “old house” guy and I’ve always been adverse to the national furniture showroom vendors and mass produced pieces. A few years ago my buddy dropped like 15k at Ashely Furniture on a bunch of shit and he said it was all falling apart with 18 months and cheaply made etc...tried to get an exchange/refund and they basically told him to fuck off. (Not saying this as a critique of your purchase)
It can be expensive as shit, but restoration hardware is good quality and looks good. Much better quality than pottery barn based on our experience.
Oh for sure. I’m hoping the bedroom furniture doesn’t take enough use to push the quality limit. It’s definitely better made than IKEA but it’s ultimately not built to last.
Nice! I looked at this set on Black Friday. I also hate that 2 nightstands aren’t standard. The additional nightstand on these sets is usually another $400+. Pretty crazy for a single nightstand. I went with a grayish set that had a textured/upholstered headboard. I did not get the nightstands, just the bed, chest and dresser. Total was like $1450 with their 25% off special. I think it was called the Johnelle?
Best advice I can give anybody ordering expensive bedroom sets is before you put those nightstands in place trace a template of the top onto a piece of cardboard and take it to a a glass cutter. Get yourself a glass cover made and protect those nightstand tops. This will save you immeasurable amounts of rage that occur when something gets spilled or dropped on them.
PB and West Elm are absolute trash furniture. Low quality with a high price tag. CB and RH are expensive but at least they’re good quality.
