Assuming you don’t know knives can go for in excess of $100k, I’ll say I have my eye on this but since the wife stopped working the funds aren’t as liquid Spoiler https://forthenrycustomknives.com/s...works-custom-boson-carbon-fiber-westinghouse/ Michael is a a good guy, and I used to live about 10 minutes from the dealer selling this one. Michael also just won the Tactical Knives Invitational makers choice award so I’m sure that’ll impact his demand. Keep in mind the custom bubble burst a year or so ago. This used to be close to table price for this knife and people would fight over them. This time next year or maybe a couple of years at most this will be worth more. I’ve seen his knives go for $10k+ at auctions. That’s one a dozen knives I’d buy right now though, but most are collector to collector transactions that don’t involve dealers. A lot of guys resent dealers and wish they’d get cut out of the market altogether. Don’t get caught up in the “soup of the day” makers on Instagram and YouTube who use shady tactics to drive up prices for knives they basically assembled out of kits. There’s a lot of those guys out there, and suckers pay thousands for them then realize they’re no better than a Chinese CNC knife. If you want a slip joint or fixed blade I’ll send you a wither direction.
My go to flip open is a kershaw and then I have a small two blade buck and swiss army single blade for the pockets. The key knife on my key ring is the best tool ever and TSA has never asked a question.
Use this guy every single day, and come to think of it it’s never been taken at the airport either. SOG CE1002-CP Centi I Folding Knife Keychain Size, 1.4"" Blade (CE1002)
i started looking into them a while back after Michael Davies recommended them. Their Executive shoes have been my EDC work shoes for the past six months and I’ve been very happy
I’m curious but what do you people do to need a tactical knife for every day carry. I rarely find I need a knife in my daily life. Is it purely for protection should you end up in a bad situation?
I'm not sure about the others but I know Hoss Bonaventure uses his to cut away his underwear after he shits himself so he doesn't have to take his pants completely off.
I receive inventory restocks daily. It’s so much easier to pull a small 2” blade from my pocket to cut through the packing tape and break down the box.
I work in a chemical plant. I’m opening boxes, cutting fiber tape off drums and buckets etc all day long. When I’m just in the office I typically carry a slip joint that’s about the size of a peanut. It’s just big enough to open a letter but it also takes two hands to open so it makes less sense in the “field”. In a protection situation I’d suggest a fixed blade over a folder 99% of the time.
Hey wait if we’re talking survival I’m taking Night Slasher’s blade from COBRA thanks no interviews please.
I posted a link to that knife (there were maybe 5 total made for the film). I think it was about a $25k bid last I checked.
Frequent flying TMB cunts, please help me out. Looking for a backpack (don't @ me) for flying. I don't fly very often, but the same bag I've been using for 20 years isn't that practical anymore. This wouldn't be carry on for all my luggage, just the shit I want to keep on me if I'm checking a bag. Laptop, iPad, random shit. Apologies if I missed a random 3 pages that may have beat this to death already. BayouMafia

Mine has since been discontinued, but this is the new model: https://www.mysteryranch.com/urban-assault-24-pack
20 years? Well if you want another 20 get a GoRuck. I just got one for conditioning and my trip to Mexico. Its built to last.
Tom Bihn is making some great bags for all types of needs, they don’t look tacticool at all. GoRuck is my go to these days and I really like the layout—especially the laptop pocket. Some are outsourced these days but people say the quality is as good as the US version. I’d still spend the extra on the US version personally. Mystery Ranch makes some awesome stuff and I’ve got a few from them but Dana Gleason, once again, has built up a name into iconic status and outsourced almost all the labor to Asia. I no longer feel sorry for him. by the way, airlines consider my GR1 a personal item and it does slide under pretty much all seats. But I’m really short so I can live without the leg room.
They incentivize you to get the short term package because it's a pain in the ass to continue to reup that one. People inevitably lose track and auto-pay the full amount at some point and some say fuck it and leave it be and some call and reup for longer with the money they've already paid.
Ahh, makes sense So at the end of the 6 months do you list call and threaten to cancel and they offer another 6 month package?
I call every time it's about to expire and get a big discount. just set an alert on your calendar a few weeks before it expires
Yeah. If you're really serious about quitting don't give them a credit card and ask to be invoiced instead. They'll give you a discount to set up a card but then make sure to call a few weeks in advance and negotiate the next stupid pricing. It's all a big fucking stupid game.
IG marketing has me by the balls. The scrubber feels great. The bag is silicon so it's easy to clean and can hold a ton of shit. https://tooletries.com/products/koby-bag

So I am slowly being convinced that I "need" Airpods by some friends and coworkers. However, they don't fit my ear that well. I know the shame of looking poor will be nearly unbearable, but are there some decent non-apple options out there?
