Oh, it's my home office. I was just wondering if there was a certain type of bulb I could get that would be a bit more zoom friendly. I've also seen covers that go over the can, but they seem to get mixed reviews
Guy in my office has the same problem. He just turns off the office light and bought one of those halo style lamps that Tik Tokers and Instagram models use when he’s on Zoom meetings.
Can I ask you what made you buy Daylight bulbs to begin with? I notice it a lot in my neighborhood that people have these Daylight or Bright White bulbs burning in their homes and (even worse) in their backyards. Always makes it feel like you're living in a Walmart or BBQing in the parking lot with those things on imo. I'm a Soft White kinda guy and that's not just a nickname my wife gave me. Honestly interested in the appeal of those bulbs outside of a retail/machine shop/parking lot atmosphere.
I have gone through this. I think it’s hard to find a medium between the old bulbs we had growing up and the newer LEDs. To me they either a shade too bright or a shade too dark. That combined with my disease of buying the largest pack possible means some are still floating around our house until they die.
Ah, I misspoke. They are soft whites. There are 4 on one switch and 2 are ok. I assume leaving the socket empty or with a broken bulb on those 2 is bad. Do they make dummy bulbs that can go into 2 sockets and just use the other 2 normally?
Most people don’t know this hack, but if you have some leftover blinker fluid you can dip a rag in it and coat the empty socket and it will keep electricity from leaking.
I just tried this lifehack and I no longer have a house. My electricity bill is going to be so low next month!
Is it the lumen or the color of the light? Maybe get some of those cheap color changing bulbs and adjust it? I have them on my porch and change colors with the seasons and holidays
That's probably my next step. I suspect it's that the camera angles up so you're looking into the bulb, so it's like a trump eclipse for every meeting
$289.99 for the bonfire with stand. https://www.solostove.com/bonfire-p...IrpsjlPKfSZPTpCSv7S8JJSx28j0juZYaArk3EALw_wcB
No, I wouldn't say it's massive. I just asked my wife and she said she thinks its small. She might've misunderstood what I was asking her, but...
The design creates a super efficient fire with drastically reduced smoke. Is it wort the extra money for that? That is for the individual consumer to decide. We thoroughly enjoy ours an get more use out of it than previous pits. Mostly due to my wife hating smoke.
weekend might be over, but they are all fucking awesome. Also if your wood is dry and fits properly in your pit, it’s pretty damn efficient and minimal smoke.
Big fan of ours. We use it fairly frequently throughout the fall. I did manage to brush both of my legs against it one night and not surprisingly it burned like hell.
Big fan of my bonfire but I don’t use it as much as I should. Fire is great but wish it put out a little more heat. The only complaint I have is the thing absolutely chews through firewood
Good friend works there and they got licensing for 25 schools to put team logos on some. PokePokesPokes is one of the 26. Should be launching in October
That’s a lie. My other complaint would be that the accessories are expensive as hell. I would like one of the spark shields but haven’t pulled the trigger
For the wood, depends on how dry it is IMO. We rip through some and others will take forever to burn. We debated that shield, however FIL came over a few times and insisted we get one which sealed the deal for us. We’re never getting one.
I bought a Bonfire when it was the biggest model they had at the time. It works great but was just too small as a primary fire pit. So I played myself and bought this: Also works great but honestly, it's a little on the big side. I love it though, you can put a massive amount of wood and it gets relatively smokeless once the fire gets going.
