I would go with over-ear protection with earbuds that have noise canceling.
I have an electric lawnmower and leaf blower from green works. I’ve been happy with both purchases
Gonna try to redo my yard over the next few years. It’s 98% weeds/dirt right now and a little grass would be nice. Might fuck around and find out about a garden too.
4 stroke gang
THATS WHAT SHE SAID
Counter rotation tines are a game changer
You'll be gardening big time before you know it
60 something inch 5 year old vizio is acting up. The picture keeps coming on and then screen goes black then comes back on. Started this morning. Basically cycles of flashing picture. Enough to give you a headache. I don't think it's on direct tv. Would you expect a 5 year old TV to crap out or should it get a better lifespan? I'm seeing varying answers online. Some say 4-10 years. Some say as long as 15 years.
Kranzle is the best but expensive. I also have an old Sun Joe that just will not die.
Electronics never really have a universal lifespan, but you can try a few things: try putting your directv on a different input. If that fails, I'd see if there was a firmware update, do that, and then factory reset the tv.
Vizios known for not having a long life.
And if not any of these, just trash or recycle it. It won't even be worth the diagnostic fee from the TV repair place.
Surprisingly, I’ve had a 55inch Vizio since 2010 with no issues. I keep waiting for the day that it dies.
Home Depot sent me like a floor model of this thing and it was all fucked up. I returned it and am now doing more research (instead of making the beer buzzed spontaneous power tool decision).
Didn’t want to mislead the thread about my purchases.
It’s a Vizio. Yes.
I got a Vizio right when right after they came on big on the scene. Got mine in 2005. Paid like $800 for a 37". Still running strong in the guest bedroom.
I got a 70" vizio for like $350 a couple of years ago. Those things are so damn cheap now.
2023 sierra AT4
I have a 2021 AT4 and quite like it. I’ll probably keep it for 10+ years. Either way, it’ll definitely be the longest I’ve ever kept a car either way.
I don’t like the move to center console shifter but that looks spiffy as hell otherwise. What kind of mileage does the turbo diesel get?
Only driven around 120 miles so far but averaged 22mpg so far.
A friend of mine has a 2wd sierra with the turbo diesel and says he gets around 30mpg highway at 70mph.
Thats pretty nice. I have the standard 5.3L V8 4WD and get 17 mpg overall for the lifespan I’ve had it. That does include a ton of highway miles though, so it’s gonna be closer to 15 if I’m doing mostly local driving.
I'm averaging like 15-16mpg in my 2022 Tundra.
Apologies because I’m sure this has been asked before. Best robot vacuum recommendations? All I really know is roomba but not sure if there are better options.
I feel ya. My "secondary" TV is a 46" entry/mid level Samsung non-SmartTV that's 10ish yrs old now. Over the past week it was 50/50 whether it would turn on during any given day. Today it just won't do it.
Going to order this one to replace. Since it's not my main TV I don't feel like spending up for it.
Maybe this is standard across smart tv’s and I just never realized, but I love that the LG tv’s built-in web browser has pop-up blocker so I can just stream sports/movies from pirate sites without any issue.
I was surprised at the cost of TVs. Checked last week. You can get a pretty nice 60 something Samsung for like $650.
The top of the line Roomba’s typically have features we use and that work well, like areas to avoid bc they chew up the edges of our area rugs and get stuck a lot, also like the self emptying canister models.
They require more care/maintenance than I’d like. Replacing broken brushes, beat up rollers, tangled strings/threads, wiping down the internals of dust/debris buildup. If it goes through a dog/kid’s pee, poop, vomit, etc. bc you have an auto clean scheduled and didn’t know the cat puked up salmon chunks under the dining room table, you’re tossing a $1k vacuum.
I tend to think the well rated, cheaper, knock offs on Amazon, and just replacing the unit after 2-5 years is more economical/time saving for most people.
Yeah even 75" TVs can be very affordable and those things are fucking massive.
I'll always have a Samsung as my main TV going forward. The colors on their TVs always look better to me than any other brands for some reason.
Yea, I've got the like $700 roomba and it pisses me off when it sends me a message that it actually successfully completed a job and returned to base on its own
Follows the message up with an exclamation point, cause it's not something it does very often
Get 27 out of my 2wd
Full disclosure: I haven't had to use my 4WD since I've had my truck. I probably should be using it at the boat ramp but always forget. One time I had the straps on my boat and my friend was backing my truck in and we couldn't figure out why the boat wasn't floating off and he backed the truck too far almost where the exhaust pipe was in the water Would have been especially helpful to have it in 4WD in that situation. This is how people sink their trucks at the ramp
New whip. Got the genesis gv70 2.5 advanced package.
Weird it didn't upload to previous post.
I am Jensen Huang's cuck boy spending $1700 on a graphics card, but my e-peen is an inch longer now.
yes its a completely stupid purchase, but I'll sell my old stuff to offset some of the cost at least.
These things are awesome.
I am in love. Quiet, comfortable, and great tech. It parks itself. Remote start with key fob and with app.
For my bride.
I think tiger wrecked not because of being high on pain pills (he probably was) but he was likely flexing the muscles of the upgraded genesis engine and lost control. I have the smaller engine and it still slaps.
Iirc, it was like 7am local time. He obviously loves his opioids but I think it was more of a speed on the road he was traveling thing
My wife has been asking for one. She wants the 23 GX . The dealership in Mobile has it for $61k. Probably going to get it for her. She currently has a 21 RX but it's kinda small for schlepping a kid around with all their gear.
The Rx is completely adequate.
I was wholly unimpressed by the GX
Why were you unimpressed by the GX? RX is small. I'm 6'0 200 and the front passenger seating situation is small. I always wish the seat would go back further. If you had someone 6'3 etc they would not even fit.
Buddy my wife drives a NX and I’m 6’3”, I know the situation lol.
This reminds me I sat in the back of a model x for the first time
So tiny for a luxury sedan
I guess you could call RX adequate but definitely not ideal.
The GX isn’t really bigger than a Rx, look at the dimensions. It’s a boxier design but it’s literally the same length. You get another row but the trunk is literally six inches at most. Like I said, I was completely unimpressed with it.
you don’t need a tiller but what you need is pre emergent, post emergent, fertilizer and water
Bought this last night cuz a fan on my 1070 ti has a seized bearing and the replacement fan I ordered didn’t have the right connector
Novice question from me, if the straps were off and the exhaust was in the water that’s not a bad thing or a facepalm moment right?
My level of experience, I take a boat out once a summer and if the water is lower that exhaust gets near or in the water to get the boat on the trailer
