I have a sleep eight and I would rank it as one my best purchases ever. My wife's jaw hit the floor when I told her how much it cost when I first bought it but now she'll tell people all the time how worth it is. If you can afford it it's really hard to put a price on a great night sleep, especially for this aging crowd.
Price dropped $500 today and Tempurpedic is giving me the runaround about honoring the new price. Hasn't even shipped yet.
I want one of these for my next mattress - https://www.hastens.com/us/beds?_gl...id=0AAAAAC-YE-mY3-yV-j7TI5yx5ql7qhFH4#vividus
Is there a consensus for best performance polo in terms of wrinkle freeness and collar that doesn't turn into soft bacon?
I've never worn this brand. How do they hold up against wrinkles? I feel that's the one knock on these performance polos vs traditional cotton. Cant iron the wrinkles out of them.
H&B has taken over my closet. The tailored fit plus collar with sewn in stays are perfect, and I have some that are several years old at this point that are holding up great
I bought like 6 Coastal Cotton performance polos this summer. Been loving them https://coastalcottonclothing.com/collections/polos
I just got these and love them. I’ve had tons of different slides but these are my favorite. The ridges on the inner sole not only feel good but they actually help you “grip” when your foot is wet so you don’t slip out. https://www.nike.com/t/calm-mens-slides-4hQGBf/FD4116-201
I fucked up and didn’t realize they didn’t come in half sizes. What did you go with? If anything it’s Nike so you can always just exchange them.
I wear a 12 and the 12 fit me fine. I would rather go up a half size than down like you did based on how your foot fits into the contours of the sole.
I have to admit, calling your company "coastal cotton" and then choosing to sell very few products made from 100% cotton is a good bit
everyone's being a cunt about it but they are cheaper than many of the other similar brands and the shirts look and feel great.
Speaking of collared shirts, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of plastic button on most new button downs RE cracking or disintegrating when dry cleaned.
depends on the company one of the reasons I stopped wearing Brooks Brothers shirts is because their buttons especially aren't built to withstand the rigors of the dry cleaner's press week after week I wear mostly Charles Tyrwhitt now since you can repeatedly get the 3 shirts/$99 introductory deal simply by not logging in when you purchase, and their buttons do fine
Charles Tyrwhitt has been the primary offender, at least for me. Along with Faherty. Maybe it’s my dry cleaner though. But I have a 20-year-old Polo that’s been dry cleaned a million times and the buttons are still there, so IDK
Brooks Brothers dress shirts last me maybe 3-5 years and start to degenerate. I'm not sure if that is better than the average life span of a mid to upper mid tier dress shirt.
Anyone know about IR repeaters and the like? I have a ceiling mounted projector that I always have to angle the remote up to like a dope. I'd like to fix it but am a little lost. Two things I've seen mentioned: My projector has a 3.5mm IR out. Could I just get an emitter and dangle it underneath the unit to have a more direct line of sight? I also saw this (https://a.co/d/eW6XtxV), which has a receiver and an emitter. I'm having a hard time understanding if it would repeat the correct IR device, since nothing is connected to the projector.
in theory if it has an IR out port you can connect a blaster and point in the right direction and it should work but I’ve had problems before. Not to say it won’t work but you might need to try a few different approaches until you get something that does work. Mostly what I have experience with is using an IR receiver which then passes signal to blasters for receivers and such that are in an AV closet. that USB solution looks like it might work. basically it doesn’t matter what the receiver gets, signal wise, as the IR codes are specific to each device so it just blasts that IR code and only your intended device should respond since no other device speaks that language
are you just turning the projector on/off or do you need to control the volume and other stuff? A trigger input thingy would solve the on/off part but if you need to other stuff like adjusting the volume and what not then that's more complicated. Not sure if your projector has one. Like for instance, I have a trigger input on both my receiver and amplifier that turns both on at the same time.
Carl Brutananadilewski - thanks, I'll try that cheap usb fella and see what happens. I wish harmony hadn't stopped making remotes... I'd just get an elite and call it a day. Seems like the sofabaton is the closest thing but it gets pretty rough reviews southlick just off/on but unfortunately my avr doesn't have a powered trigger.
I'm bored so I started watching this. They had this in there https://emotiva.com/products/et-3-t...yzLsZp1Cct2YU_BFI56BGUl1a5WHZqvHTC5pbCTC8QWCB This dude used it on his entertainment center where his receiver had no trigger out. Might help.
That's pretty neat and way cheaper than I would have guessed. My projector already has that cable run to where my avr is
