Ha! There’s no way that person could catch me in those. Their socked foot is flying out of those smooth soled slides.
I’m still on the Rhoback bandwagon but those 3 are really nice. Love the Straight Down vests as well. The ones I posted above are Brooks Brothers but at the office I’m all about that golf polo/vest lyfe. It’s so comfortable.
I've been a chaco chillos slide guy for many years. But after a horrific blowout last summer, I've been on the lookout for a replacement. I bought a couple pair of oofos last month on clearance. So far I'm a big fan. They offer way more support/cushion than normal flops/slides.
They're comfy, but not something you should wear all day long, though. Can be real hard on your knees
Any suggestions on compound bows for amateur archery? I used to use my grandfathers years ago and my buddy and I were talking about getting back into target shooting.
If another needs it, the usb unit worked like a charm. And I realized my tower fan could be programmed with my harmony remote so I've eliminated two remotes
Go to a store, get fitted, and test them out. There’s so much variety it’s hard to really advise. I shoot a PSE. Hoyt, Matthews, Bowtech and Bear all also have good products you can find pretty much anywhere. It kind of just comes down to fit and feel.
Posted in the hunting thread as well and looking at Matthews and Bear online. I’ll go to a store and check them out but just getting an idea
Do any folks with iPhones have AirPod alternatives they’re happy with? Mine frustrate me with the sounds quality other people hear when I use my phone but I’ve never had complaints while on a meeting w/ my MacBook. An employee at the Apple Store told me his started to go down hill after 2 years and mine are 3 years old. I’m at the point where I hate these things other than for the gym.
So the sound quality of your voice that people hear on the other end of the line? That happens to me occasionally but still rarely. If yours is consistent, maybe there’s a blockage on the microphone somewhere? Or they’re just dying. I dunno
I hate anything that goes in my ear. I use AirPodMax or I also have these ones that go around your ear with a loop but don’t go in the canal and just sit on top I got super cheap on Amazon that work really well. They don’t always work as seamlessly as Apple products but no issues with sound or speaker quality even in noisy places to date.
I don't have the pictured "buds" but I do have a Soundcore portable speaker that I got last year during Prime Days for about $30 that absolutely smokes just about any other small portable I've heard including much more expensive JBL and Sony. I'll be picking up another this week if they're on sale (I'd be surprised if they're not) so I can make a linked stereo pair. At Christmas I was handing these out to my siblings-in-law like they were candy. The sound is fantastic especially at the price point.
Moped adjacent I want something fun for my kids to ride on that I can too (I'm basically a child). Tired of wasting money on shit powerwheels for them. I keep going back to the Segway but the reviews aren't stellar. I think if it dropped under $1,500 I'd get it but I haven't seen anywhere come close to the Costco price plus they don't even have it in stock right now anyway. My wife is pushing for a golf cart. We have back roads we could take it to an area we frequent with lots of restaurants, stores, etc. plus just riding around with the family is an activity itself. QUITE THE DILEMMA IM IN
I recently replaced my 3 year old Soundcores with these Soundcore Space A40’s. They have more expensive models but these are fantastic for me, and as far as I’ve been told I come through crystal clear when talking to people. Sound quality is great. https://a.co/d/cCcf7QF
We have a golf cart and I'd recommend getting one, especially if your wife is giving you the go ahead.
Deep down I knew this was the answer. We also go to Ft Wilderness once or twice a year and always rent their shitty carts so we'd tow it with us there as well.
My brother had one when we lived in Fayetteville. He knew the owner of the scooter store and they put a 150 motor in a 50 body so he wouldn’t have to get it tagged. Thing had some gitty up to it. It made just running to the store pretty fun.
We looked at some homes in a suburb here and they had trails and what not and saw so many people just taking them to go to the store or wherever. My wife works in the area and says every morning at the school nearby parents take them to drop their kids off. I’d definitely go the golf cart route if I had that option.
You'd age out of the go kart but not the golf cart. I'd kill to be able to take my kids to school in one if there were cart paths near me
I'd have done a golf cart as well, but scooter mades more sense in our neighborhood - historic district, limited parking & can just pop it on the sidewalk anywhere to park. We used the 50cc a ton, but was just too limited & couldn't really safely go outside our area... the 150 will get up to 60-65mph, so we can now take it anywhere apart from highways
I just got Bose QC Ultra earbuds. Only complaint would be the size of the case (whatever) and not nearly as perfect syncing with IPhone. Had bad experiences with multiple pair of AirPods that just stopped working so made the switch.
I never had a single issue with the old school longer airpods. When they went to pros I started having issues left and right. Ppl said they couldnt' hear me very well. I changed the settings. I even sent them back to apple to repair the microphone . People still say they can't hear me very well. They fucking suck . THis is a pretty well known issue. Would recommend just changing to bose pods or a different brand . As others have noted , might not sync as well , but it can't be worse than people saying they can't hear you
My 3rd Gen. AirPods suck ass. They don’t have the rubber tips and literally won’t stay in my ears for 3 minutes straight on the treadmill. I recently bought Anker p25i and like them much better at 1/10 the price. They’re nothing fancy.
