I'm going to be in Hong Kong in a few weeks. Is Sam's worth the hype? I have a few suits, jackets, and shirts from tailors in Thailand and Vietnam, they're amazing. HK looks a good bit more expensive.
No idea about the suit quality (they look nice?) but the guy who runs the shop will molest you for social media. Or he used to at least
After some reddit research it looks like Sam's is way too mainstream. I'll be taking my business elsewhere
I don't know personally, but have to imagine so. I think most big Asian cities will have high quality suits for cheaper than the US Spoiler
It’s a legit retailer so I don’t see why it would ever be shut down. FWIW they have increased their prices a bit so it’s not as great of a deal anymore but still cheaper than US retail. One of the best things about them is that if you want to be sure to get a Made in UK jacket, you can email the owner and she can help out.
https://www.bestbuy.com/product/ace...ddr5-128gb-ufs-wi-fi-6e-steel-gray/JJ8V8H3CK9 Any thoughts on this? I need to get my FIL a laptop for Christmas. He doesn’t need it to do much other than play YouTube and have a big screen. It doesn’t need to save much. I have a $300 Best Buy gift card which is how I focused on that one.
I have the R5 and love it. The R3 and R5 ii were both on sale and I get a discount on top of that so I had a huge choice to make. I hope I picked right. The R3 is great but 3 years older and closer to obsolescence. Plus, I’m bad to shoot wide and then crop. 45 mp will take me farther than 24 mp and with all the AI Denoise options I’ll just deal with that decrease in lowlight performance in Lightroom.
The R3/R1 are great but I’m not a photographer and I don’t have a press pass to get me wherever and whenever. So I shoot from the cheap seats and crop. I’m left eye dominate so I’ve been perfectly happy with electronic viewfinders until recently. I went for a checkup at work and they were like “did you injure your left eye because your vision is noticeably worse.” Nope, just old. Makes sense why I think my photos are out of focus until I’m processing them and realize I’m the one out of focus.

What do y'all wear for casual, comfy shoes? I have had On Clouds for the past few years, and thoroughly enjoy them as I can slip them on, they are reasonably fashionable, and they have support for walking around in them. However, I feel like they are becoming a bit too much of the southern male's go-to so I want to try something different. I'm looking at something like this - https://www.golausa.com/mens-gola-classics-c16/sneakers-c270/gola-classics-mens-hawk-sneakers-p2949 or this - https://www.colehaan.com/mens-grand...ILzzJTRfQG7Osqg6ueIAjDMJZ5VwVgARoCFQkQAvD_BwE I like the look of Nike shoes but everything I've read says you need to go 1/2 size up and since I wear a 13, that doesn't really work well.
Depends what pants you wear with them? I exclusively wear ultra boosts unless I am in pants/jeans and then I have some cole haans. Honestly, prefer to wear the Cole Haans over my boosts - way more comfortable.
CoastalOrange addias ultra boost are probably (behind Yeezy 350 and 380) the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn
CoastalOrange for work sneakers I wear Adidas Stan Smiths or Sambas which are what the Cole Haan you posted are based off of. But for overall daily shoe you’re not going to beat the ultraboosts. They look good and are game changing in terms of comfort.
No they stopped doing that. I mean I still did because I’m and idiot but if they change their minds again I can just not panic.
I don't know what took me so long to get one. I was reading somewhere recently that said every car should have one. I'm gonna hardwire that bitch to my fuse box
I’m in Houston and I keep hearing horror stories about how no one has insurance and people try to commit insurance fraud all the time etc. A few years back someone bumped my car in the rain. No biggie. We exchanged insurance. Not even a scratch on mine. I found out recently they put a claim on me lol
Trying out the Soundcore A30 Special Sleep Buds - had the Bose version a few years back, but returned them, as they were limited to native audio… these have Bluetooth audio as well as ANC
