Several, I like them. I don't own many other equivalent brands to be able to compare though. Bit too pricey for me at full price.
I have a few daily grinds in the slim fit. Honestly they run a bit small in the shoulders, but overall good quality. Got 16.5x35 which I wear in brooks brothers extra slim and like I said sleeves are a bit short. I'd go 1/2 inch longer on the sleeve than normal and you'll be fine. Otherwise good quality, especially on sale.
Love them, but they're pricey. Picked one up for 40% off yesterday though. Anyone tried their traveler dress shirts? Assuming they're similar to mizzen and main.
Yeah, I've had mine for a year or so, and they still come out without any issues from the dryer. I also like that they are a bit longer in the body than the Brooks Brothers stuff so they stay tucked in a bit better.
I have most styles, in slim fit which is really good fit for me. They hold up really well and if you get them on sale you can get them for as cheap as $15-20.
i'll have to check them out. as far as cheap, quality dress shirts go, i've always been a fan of costco brand shirts that are like 18 bucks.
I have a few Lands End shirts. The ones I have that aren't "No Iron" as they like to call them, look just the same as the ones that are. I get the tailored fit and they do seem to hold up pretty well. I wish they'd charge a little more and make a better non-iron, though.
slim fit vs tailored fit, i'm 6'2 195. is the tailored a notch looser than the slim fit or other way around.
Slim is tighter than tailored. At 6'2" 195 I would probably go slim. I'm 5'10" 165 and slim fit work well.
I'm 5'10 175 and could probably wear the slim, but opted for the tailored instead cause I can't stand when a shirt is really tight on my back and under my arms. They fit well.
How much are you guys paying for Lands End shirts? When Charles Tyrwhitt shirts go on sale, I always pick up 3 or 4. Love the slim fits.
Where are you seeing that? I'm trying to find the info regarding the different cuts but can't find it now for some reason. I would say on average around $25-30. If you look/sign up for coupon codes though I was regularly able to get them for $15-20 (I haven't bought any in around a year probably).
Click on an individual shirt, then under your neck and sleeve length is a link that says "find your fit"
I believe Drew63 is talking about Bonobos. If y'all have seen his work in the food thread you should know he's not buying $15 dress shirts
Still a huge fan of ctshirts.com/offer They are having a sale right now too. I'm built like an orangatan and their slims are the best fit I've ever found.
Got the factory seconds in today. Can't tell the difference at all to be honest. If you are thinking about buying AE I would suggest going this route so you can save $100-$200
Apparently my doppelnämer is getting hitched... ...and apparently our gmail accounts are similar enough for me to mistakenly receive their venue reservation. Did some preliminary FB stalk-sleuthing to ensure my identity hadn't been stolen and was satisfied the happy couple was real and engaged. Also young and just starting out. Seemed like good people. Their accounts weren't even private! I needed the miles.
Would much rather go with ll bean than lands end at that price point. The patterns on lands end shirts look really cheap when you stand next to one. If you aren't looking for a metro faggy look, brooks brothers is tough to be at a semi affordable price (think they're normally $92 each but around Black Friday they do 4 for $200). Bonobos are nice too but I'm too fat to wear those all the time
did you pay for the rest of their balance??? how did you manage to access their account on the booking site?
