Yea you don't measure that far out until you're in organic chemistry and realize the crystal substance you were trying to produce is all fucked up because you didn't measure it out perfectly.

STFU. I've taken OChem and that has never been an issue. "Oh no, my yield is off by 2%!!!" Reminds me of an Indian kid who would titrate a massive amount of strong base with an acid and do it soooo slowly, drop by drop, to make sure he got the exact fucking reading. GFY. I guess I just enjoy leaving lab before lab is over.
Makes complete sense in a real laboratory setting, but I am assuming these memes apply to lower level science courses(could be wrong in that assumption) considering I doubt lab professionals have time to make memes...

Worked in an O Chem lab last three semesters of undergrad. The analytical balance was incredibly important when you're working with mmol amounts.
