I really miss live music. This vid is one of my favorites of my namesake. I saw them on this tour, and they were so dialed in. Best I ever heard them.
saw their last show ever down the street from my apt
was really good
Saw them three times over the years, and they got better every time.
really too bad jesse lacey ended up being a piece of shit
no surprise in a scene like that though
Yeah, that one was a huge bummer for me. Sounds weird, but I'm glad I got to see them one last time before that came out. Weren't there still a bunch of dates on that tour that they cancelled?
yeah i think they were all overseas iirc
lol just realized my ex gf was at this show
she told me about it
I suppose she had one good quality
the Chicago music scene
really gotten into the minutemen during q
I got to see them on the 25th for the first time, final show was the 29th, and it was amazing, so good that I planned on going to NYC to watch them on their final tour they were going to have in 2018. So glad I saw them before the bad news came out.
this album means a great deal to me
also, I love this cover so much
I saw Alex Lahey with Dude York back in the summer of 2017 and it was a really really fun show. That's the word I'd use to describe her music
this might be my favorite song of all time
fucking Real Estate mates
i’ve looked up my spotify data before
this is in my top 5 songs played ever
real estate, beach fossils, and beach house kinda rule my top 100 songs played tbh
three bands i will listen to no matter my mood
so I just learned that the guitarist in Monarch also plays drums in Sacri Monti and they're all really good buds and what not, which kind of blew my mind with these two bands being easily my two favorite prog finds in recent years, but also makes sense I guess
put me in a really good mood for some reason and instead of winding down to go to bed I'm listening to music
I'm feeling a little different right now.
Took the wife to this show and she was like wtf am I watching. But she knew a bunch of songs. Taking Back Sunday Opened and was amazing.
There's a marathon of DJs tearing through Stevie Wonder's catalog (for his bday) for the next several hours. @swfamily24 on IG
Questlove's up first so the Roots' HD YT stream is up
This shit has been incredible you jabronis.
I failed to mention that its literally 24 hours straight. On the tail end of the 3rd DJ right now. @swfamily24 on IG
