hey this is probably my favorite post-Volta Omar side project aka release the 2nd album please
ahh geez ahh geez ahh geez ahh geez
I think we all can agree that this is the album that introduced me to Portugal. The Man
(it's funny because how could you possibly agree to that)
I mean, sometimes no words need to be said man, or woman
tbh I may or may not have run out of things to say about some of these songs
edit: the build to this song is satisfying as fuck there's a thing (I love the warn)
you like this song, I know you do
I remember hearing this for the first time as I traveled to a grocery store at night with my friend trying to find some lime salsa I had during spring break, it was tight
(that outro though )
fuuuuuuuuck this song is so damn good
2nd best song of 2017 iyam
no I do not feel like it is trying to tell me something right now
And I do mean D
oh my, I love the original of this song so much
that second verse though
I love how this album was one of those albums that changes your opinion on an artist so gawd daim much
and for my final trick (seriously, I'm going to bed, pretty tired now)
This episode blew my mind. Glad i got to see him in 2011.
this was a good album. it was even a better Tool album than the album that Tool released in the same year.
Time to surrender to the flow, brahs
it’s sunday so it’s frank day
Baroness was one of my favorite bands after their first two albums but I saw them live on the Yellow and Green tour after their terrifying bus accident and honestly they were pretty bad. Easily the worst and most disappointing concert I've seen. And now they release these albums that are produced so poorly that I feel discomfort in my ears before I can even finish one of them. It's kind of a sad story because those first two albums absolutely ruled
I discovered Baroness via The Show '10 soundtrack. This song is still great
The Red album is still a consistent member of the rotation.
I liked Yellow & Green but you’re right, they’ve been declining.
Was introduced to them through their purple album and I just flat out didn't like the band, then someone in the heavy music thread eventually recommended I check out their Red and Blue albums before completely dismissing them and I was blown away
Came up on my Chris Stapleton and White Buffalo channel. Never heard of the guy, big fan:
I like this song, especially the Dave Grohl guitar solo
He’s fantastic and has quite the catalog for his age.
Time to heal, plus the addition of a hot and badass guitarist, has reinvigorated them as they were badass when I saw them last year. I celebrate their whole catalog, maybe more because I appreciate the painful struggles that bus accident caused the lead singer.
Will Toledo and Andrew Savage >>> other songwriters
This girl has an amazing voice. I get some definite Sade vibes.
went full dummy in the tmb poker outing tonight and I'm back in the shuffle, for better or worse, but mostly better, I think
didn't even recognize this song when it came on tbh
I love me some Land of Talk and this new joint from their upcoming is no different.
yes please I will take Blind Melon's two albums over any duo from other 90's bands let's fight (but really party) nerds
fwiw I knew they were
