It was good
I’ve had a bit of wine and clarified that already
roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mashed parsnips, mashed rutabaga, cranberry sauce from can, hawaiian sweet rolls, and gravy. Thanksgiving for 2. So good. Rutabaga my fav.
My mom would make something similar for us when we were kids. Chocolate pudding instead of cool hhhhwip tho
it’s got pudding and powdered sugar as well
sweet potato casserole?
if yes, recipe?
No I put roasted sweet potatoes in my dressing.
Love me some warm apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream
Had some solid mac and cheese, the good kind in pie/casserole form not the goopy Kraft-like crap. Stuffing was rote, got just a little for some flavoring. Turkey was Cajun-fried, dark meat was nice, white not as juicy but like the texture difference, skin was perfect. Took a bite of what I thought was squash casserole and it was actually one of those horrible old southern lady pineapple casseroles. An unwelcome surprise. Sweet tater casserole was chock full of candied Carolina pecans and was as it should be, a dessert before dessert. There were butter beans and field peas but I passed on those. Wish we'd had some collard greens.
smoked and oven roasted Turkey
Blanched green brands in Brown butter, garlic, shallot and salt and vinegar almonds
Scalloped sweet with chipotle cream sauce
Sweet potato casserole
Didn’t do the fries but here’s everything else:
Added chili oil to the grits and made them three cheese
Those grits look incredible
Made a real cunty garlic and rosemary crusted beef roast, mushroom gravy, and roasted cherry tomato and shallot risotto. But I stole the show for my 2 year old with a cold Hawaiian roll
I’m on my fourth big ass shit of the day. My butthole is a Warzone
Didn’t even eat the cookies or mousse last night. Everything else was great
There was apparently a Cornish game hen shortage, so I roasted a duck instead and ended up with approximately 1.5 cups of delicious duck fat.
I lived. I laughed. I loved.
