Flew in for the game. First home saints game since the NFC championship and thoroughly disgusted. bright side I get to see this shit team again next week when we beat the Washington racial slurs by 50
He led the pregame who dat chant. He was fired up and was fired up in the sideline all game. You could tell he is happy to be back with NOLA
I have no idea how to imbed because I'm old now I guess, but the clip of Jameis dancing with his crutches post game is awesome. That's My QB
His teammates seem to love him. Davis, Kamara, etc kept going in the blue tent to check on him, etc. Hope this injury is short term
Hey does anyone have the ceedy.Duce Instagram video of the locker room celebration aka da club? Just saw it on sports center and Jameis is dancing on crutches lol
Panthers also, who knows how that game would've gone if half our coaches weren't out with covid issues.
Meh on Newton. I'll admit ignorance on this but Watson would be my choice but the off field stuff plus whatever price tag would be too much I'm sure.
It's Taysom's team, and our offense is hard to learn so I would be shocked if we brought in anyone else. Roll with Taysom, Trevor, and Book.
Yeah he’s close. Will be interesting if we make a move tomorrow and try to keep him in that hybrid role or just roll with him full time at QB.
Hopefully he is at least good. Doesn’t even have to be great, but if he can play well/good then this should help Callaway too. Just sucks we won’t get to see Winston with the O when Thomas comes back
Also what’s the plan now with Winston? He was most likely playing his way into a long term deal. Do we abandon that ship this off season and go out and try to get someone? Rogers, Jimmy G or someone line that? Not sure on cap stuff. Could this legit be Rogers last year in GB? Or is he happy again? Trying to think of who else may be available. I can’t think of any QBs that will be FAs after this year. I’m just spit balling here, but the Winston injury puts in a weird spot. I guess good news is we could probably resign him cheaper than we were going to have to once he’s healthy.
I think next year it'll either be: Jameis, Rodgers or Wilson. If we can't swing a deal for one of those 2, and assuming Jameis heals up properly I think he earned a long term contract here, and would be just as good or better than anyone we can get not named Rodgers or Wilson.
guessing rodgers goes to pittsburgh or denver, would want to run his own offense instead of learn paytons
Payton says he’s good with the QB room when asked about trade targets. I believe him. We gonna roll with Taysom. sucks brees retired a year too late or we would have Brady right now :(
so basically he has had 2 years on one of the richest deals in NFL history and has been almost actively trying to be injured most of the time. Feels like Jairius Byrd level bad for the cap issues of the team
Trade Thomas, Kamara, Jordan, RR, Lattimore, David and Armstead and let’s acquire 60 picks the next 3 years and get this rebuild cooking
Sweet summer children, I loved and died with the Saints my entire childhood and it was pure torture. I was 23 when we won our first playoff game only to see us immediately fall so far down an Aaron Brooks/Jim Haslett sink hole that they almost moved the franchise, then got to see the one Super Bowl there is no getting off the ride there’s just the pain
I say all of this in jest, friends. We’re stuck with these lovable losers. Can’t wait to hit the reset button in a decade when we’re out of cap hell.
The cap isn’t real. but man for all our players to be arrested for battery Kamara?? He seems like such a chill dude can’t imagine him doing that. Chauncey, CGM, I wouldn’t be surprised.
So the reports coming out on Kamara, that the video matches the incident report.... Kamara is a real piece of shit in this one. Basically jumped the guy and he and his group put the guy in the hospital. He deserves whatever punishment he gets. Sucks for the team.
