Just started watching this on Hulu and we're 2 episodes in. It is a bit confusing to follow in the beginning as I know nothing about this.
Having read the comics, it only vaguely helps as the first season pretty much seems like a prequel to the comics.
Season 2 starts tonight. Episode 2 is tomorrow night. Excited for the show to actually follow the book now,
Sounds like the Season 2 is going to pick up right about where the comic started. Which is a welcome sign, I wasn't much of a fan of the prequel BS first season.
Start s1 and ignore all the comicbookfags bitching, its good. Now I know what it feels like for GoT showfags I used to look down upon
Spoiler Was Fiore actually going to call off the Saint of Killers after partying with Cassidy? Or was it being told to find peace that changed made him change his mind?
Can I start this show in season 2? Reviews I've read are mixed to poor on season 1 but people seem to like season 2. Thoughts?
Season one gives you some back story, but you can probably just read episode recaps and that'll be good enough.
Instead of sending the Saint of Killers to the bottom of the swamp, couldn't he have simply ordered him to never kill again?
Hahahahahahha! Herr Star went to remote Vietnam and the first guy he sees is wearing an Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl champs shirt. Fucking savage
It was great. I only wished he had shot the wrestler guy. In the book he went to unarmed combat training and shot the instructor in the knee. When questioned why he broke the rules for UNarmed combat, he says "I never intend to ever be unarmed."
just got caught up on the last five episodes. really enjoying this season. weirdly, the song playing when Hitler picked up the pistol in the cafe was my high school alma mater.
I am really enjoying everything except when they switch to Arseface in Hell. It destroys the pacing, IMO. Plus I'm just not very interested in the storyline. Anything involving Herr Starr and/or Agent Featherstone is perfect.
Thought the finale was pretty meh. It has aired, but I guess I'll spoiler. Spoiler - I don't feel any real impact with Tulip's "death." The rooster running across the road that was dead at the beginning of the episode as they drove onto the L'Angelle property gave away she's going to be brought back. - With that said, I am excited to see the L'Angelle's. - Pretty obvious Herr Starr took Jesse's soul, and that's why his power will no longer work. It wouldn't work on Saint of Killers when he had no soul, so it makes sense it won't work on others when Jesse doesn't have one. - The fight between Cassidy and Jesse was definitely a highlight of the season.
Anyone else still watching? Spoiler: spoiler from last night's episode pissed off ecarrious (sp) and allfather didn't get got. and lololol at tom/brady
Still watching, would rather be watching the Cas show. Tired of the grandma arch already but sill a solid show. I never read any of the comics, FYI
Assume most are annoyed at this pont since it's on the 3rd page of the TV board but yeah, I'm pretty annoyed. Think I'm gonna give up.
