I recently hired an Afghan refugee. seems like an awesome guy. super smart and probably overqualified for the position. was doing a lot of work with UN and US organizations when the government fell and they were able to get him out of there.

I need to get to know him better but one day I really want to take him to lunch or drinks and just get him to really give me his POV on the US involvement in his country. I’ve asked him a few leading questions and I can tell he has his guard way up still but I really hope I can get some honest thoughts and ideas out of him one day.
