Eh, most people have a ton of silver dust laying around. I saw it as a way to allow people to get a lot of the items that were only available for silver in the past you can now use silver dust to purchase.

 

i mean it really doesn't matter for D1

They took all the items that were silver only and now made them where you can buy them with silver dust that is easy to get without paying real money. I'm a little confused why this is where you would get upset.
We were all upset when they introduced things that could only be purchased with silver. This is walking that back a little bit.

it's the first time gear with a light level can be acquired with real money

 

And it's a part of the last ever live update to the game (aka the end of the game). If this allows people to get to the max level to participate in end game content with their friends much quicker then awesome. 2 and half years in if this upsets you then lol.

Is this that much different than someone buying the collection or an expansion and getting the spark of light as part of it the be at a level ready to play with higher level friends from the get go?

I'll play the update and am down to do old revamped raids. If new exotics are being released (vex, necro, malice) I have to collect them. Just doubt we will have anyone come back to do the old raids again.

Do you get the same level shit running the 320 strikes? 350 with randoms sucks ass

 

I will say that Destiny with random players is the worst. Maybe Overwatch is the worst but Destiny is up there. Tried 6 strikes and everyone was just people sitting down at the start or just not doing anything.
