Its not like that, or not on the same spectrum as a Whole Foods. More traditional product offerings. They will have some Organic tho. And, for instance, in a particular section e.g. Dairy - you will find locally sourced brands.
Thats great, my item (hopefully more SKUs will get placed soon) are organic dairy items. They fail when they are the only organic on the shelf but generally kick ass if there are other organic offerings on the shelf.
It may be different Publix-to-Publix....but in mine there isn't a dedicated Organic stand/section. Its just local Georgia Butters amongst Betty Crocker, local Milks next to Horizon, Coolhaus Ice Cream next to Ben & Jerrys. So on. Not sure if your product would be the Solo Organic Act.
Some have a very small organic/specialty section but yeah most are this way. Publix has been putting out a lot of their own brand organic stuff these days.
We don’t have Publix around here. Never been. I feel left out that I’ve never seen an internet/real life fight in the parking lot or tried these famous chicken sandwiches. I go to Sprouts for most of my produce. I try to go to the local butcher shop for most of my meat items. It’s just 2 dudes and girl all about mid 30’s that opened the place up. Their meat is way better than grocery store stuff plus they know me because I go in so often. I go to Homeland or Crest for random junk food. I always try to avoid Walmart.
Hey, Sprouts carry's our products too! They are a good chain. Smaller in store size but they generally have better prices than Whole Foods stores and amazing produce.
Thanks man but Im reluctant to give out my business info publicly on here. Just keep your eyes pealed for a new Organic Cream Cheese on store shelves around July 1.
I never thought twice about the scale because that's all I know, but I can see it being confusing or out of place for people not familiar with publix. http://www.tampabay.com/features/hu...ry-Florida-Publix-have-a-big-scale-_168499783
Need to know when this starts. I'm already hungry for a mojo pork, been too long since my Publix had them on sale.
What do you put on your mojo pork sub? Had half of a friend's once and it was amazing, but I've never ordered it because I didn't know what to put on it
As long as they get a few of those juicy onion pieces swimming in the pork pan, I would eat it straight up and love it. But I usually have them put white cheese on it and some banana peppers. Even pick!es. Whatever looks good at the moment. No salad on it tho.
Swiss, provolone, or gouda. The chipotle boars head mayo or spicy mustard. Maybe tomato, pickles, more onions.
About to order a sub online for lunch since they're currently all on sale. Haven't decided what yet, probably the Mojo pork. But I noticed Publix has officially added the buffalo tender sub to their menu. It's called the Tailgater sub.
This is exactly what I ordered but requested Dill Havarti. We'll see if they do it. *Holy shit, they called me mid post. They don't have Mojo pork today :( They're making it with their dry-rubbed pulled pork though. This sandwich is going to be an adventure.
Sad to see that so many posters are struggling financially they are resorting to discounted grocery store sandwiches. Stay strong fellas.
This yankee is about to have a chicken tendie sub and a Cheerwine for lunch. I’ve had quite a few Publix tendie subs but never Cheerwine.
