When they had a grill it was the most annoying sub for them to make because it took so long, but man it was one the best subs I've ever had. Now they put it in their oven thing that doesn't come close to the flat grill experience.
The two things I missed the most when I lived out there were FSU home games and motherfucking Publix Subs. I used to drive from damn near Parker to that King Soopers in DTC so I could get me some boars head.
With you there. Definitely didn't help that Brothers and the people who are in charge of the Seminole club out there are equally awful. When/if I end up back there I'm gonna start a new one at a better bar. Fuck Brothers and LoDo.
I enjoyed one yesterday. Blessed. I was a selfish a-hole and didn't alert the board yesterday. Sorry bout that
We got one recently, made my first run today (I've been to ones in other cities). It's on a weird lot so it's a little deeper and more narrow than their average layout, still roomy. They did a great job with it. You can't quite fit a full-ton through the aisles but I was never big on that anyway. Quick run for laundry detergent and a buffalo tender sammy--a little caught off guard by their wheat bread, that's a dense grain. I must've had white every other time.
Publix bread does suck. So hard and dry. Call me fucking nuts but give me Subway bread on Publix meats.
If devine was man enough to meet me at publix, I'd leave my numchucks at home and simply beat him with a chicken finger.
publix bread isn't great, but not bad at all. it doesn't take anything away from most of their sandwiches. i'd use a softer bread on the chicken tender sub if i could though.
The Publix by my house gets my online order wrong every time without fail. One time they even forgot to put the meat on.
I don't like super thick bread, so I enjoy subway bread. I'd never eat there though. Looking at the "meat" makes me sick.
Agree on the bread. You put that buffalo tender innards on some jimmy john's bread, and you got a stew going
Multigrain is the only bread at publix I like. Jimmy John's white and wheat are great but dislike their subs except for their Italian.
Subway bread? gtfo Publix bread isnt anythig to brag about but it gets the job done...unless your lady over does it on the tenders. Lets find a better deli chain comp that sets a high bar in the bread game
I've resorted to getting a loaf of Cuban bread and just getting them to make me a sandwich with that. Pretty dope idea when it's not rush hours
