I like Sprouts robust options for getting stuff by weight, like oatmeal, granola, nuts, etc

If I'm feeling too happy and wish to correct myself, I go to an unrenovated Winn-Dixie. It's the supermarket version of McCarthy's "The Road."
kroger is the largest grocer in the country and don't try at all when it comes to their bakery/cakes/etc.. Which is a big reason why Publix is better.
Comparing Kroger to Publix bakeries is like comparing McDonald's to Burger King hamburgers.
I'd be ok if Wegman's invaded the South.

Lidl is a fantastic store. Prices and quality are great. Their bakery is top-notch for breads and the like. They're not going to make you a birthday cake though, so you still need Publix.
The Grocery Store Cake That’s Actually Awesome
For people not familiar with the supermarket chain, you might be scratching your head. But people absolutely love a Publix cake. Not only is the Southern grocery store chain known for its bakeries, but it’s pretty much a go-to with a cult-like following when it comes to wedding cakes for soon-to-be married couples.
“People have grown up with certain signature items from Publix. One of those items is our cake. So when it’s time for people to get married, they think of our bakeries,” says Maria Brous, a spokesperson for Publix. “Couples can come in and sit down with a baker to talk about how they can create a custom cake based on their individual tastes — right down to flavors and colors. Publix offers people the cake of their dreams for a fraction of the cost.”
With five cake flavors, four types of icing, eight fillings, and 24 standard icing colors, couples have plenty of options. Plus, different flavors and icing color matching are available on request. The most incredible part? The average cost of a cake for 100 guests is $400, a bargain compared to typical cake costs in other bakeries around the country.

How energetic and helpful were you?
Do you know Chiz?
How many fights did you see in the parking lot?
did it piss you off that you couldn't accept a tip?
Energetic and helpful at the beginning and end of shifts. If you asked me if we had more of an item in the back, I would go back there and not look.
The only thing we had more of in the back was stuff on BOGO.
I was rarely in the parking lot, so none.
I only bagged a handful of times. The rest was spent stocking shelves and wandering around.
Did you get to leave with wings/tendies if they were leftover?
We had a convenience store owner buy about 80 12-packs of coke once when we had a really great deal. I helped load his car. He tried to tip me with a 12 pack. I turned it down.
Does anybody here even Tom Thumb? I would love to see some open in Nashville.

Working dairy was ideal when you had a bad hangover and it was the middle of summer. Would hide back in the fridge and stock milk all day.

Publix choc chip cookies are delicious as is their cheesecake
I pretty much only buy the BOGO stuff at Publix. I usually don’t have a list and just fill my cart with whatever is on sale. Most protein, fruits, and veggies come from Costco.
