Lol at reading all that
I don’t know how much of a pyramid scheme prepaid legal insurance is but a buddy of mine got into it about 20 years ago and tried with all his might to get me involved and I was just to turned off by the idea.. 20 years later he is a millionaire. The company buys him a new BMW every two years and sends him on multiple all expense vacations per year. It has certainly worked out in his favor
im in good shape, he liked to pick on me for being so healthy, and then lament about his own health. it wasn’t totally out of left field.
Yes. As someone who used to work at an accounting firm who had an MLM client, this is consistent with my experience.
I trust that she is up speed and in compliance with the state and federal regulatory minefield surrounding selling a franchise.
I respect your hesitation to be interested
The interest is coming. It always comes.
My wife told me she made the mistake of liking a post of a friend bc she felt bad for her. We all know what happened next.
Every time someone likes one of my posts I slide into their PMs with a lucrative business opportunity
SmoochieWallace I see you liked my post. Do you want to learn to make likable posts too? And a big pile of money on the side? ;)
So I have a former coworker who is a decent guy, but got mixed in to the Shakeology scene.
It started easy enough as he invited me to join a "Mens Group" where it was about accountability and losing weight. I was part of the biggest loser group here, so I declined and wished him the best. Fast forward to a year later, and he is posting novels on instagram. He is using social media to drive his shakeology business. The disappointing part, is I posted about something with my gf, who used to work with him as well. So he sends her a request to follow her on instagram. She asks me about it and I say sure do it, he is harmless but be careful he will try and pitch you his MLM.
She accepts and follows him back, and a day later he sends her this copy and paste intro message saying he is so flattered she followed him, and if he may be bold, would she let him know how she found his account? She shows it to me, and I laugh as he apparently forgot he requested to follow her the day before.
She rolls her eyes and blocks his account.
The funniest thing about his posts are he takes pics of himself and he travels for work. So he is in these random cities taking pics of himself in hotel gyms sweating profusely using the iphone timer. I can't imagine how many photos he takes until he gets the right one.
I deleted my facebook over a year ago and honestly, one of the biggest perks has been not having to see all of this nonsense.
Damn, over an 8 year old post bump.
Looks to me like this was originally bumped in '17 and was just getting a 2 year update
"take advantage of"
A lot of careers will make you a millionaire over 20 years and you don’t even have to be a scumbag.
For a second I thought one of the suggestions was "don't eat for 2 weeks"
$350 mil each quarter???!!!
Monat (the $350 million per quarter chick) is one of the worst. They have a plethora of lawsuits in flight against them right now because their snakeoil chemically burned people's scalps.
A guy named Nipsey died? perfect timing...
What in the actual fuck
My MIL sells this bullshit and is always trying to get my wife to join the scheme
It's maddening how they find the angle to work every little thing back to their sales pitch
I had to quit CrossFit because of these people. The gym became inundated with Monat salespeople. I can’t imagine me or my wife being one of those pushy assholes. Not to mention the lack of integrity where these people are at their real job peddling a side-business across social media.
Making $300 to $500 a month will make all of your wildest dreams possible. Who knew?
Obviously some side-money does help your average American stay afloat, but these women are pushing lies to other women in effort to essentially not have to do any work or stand behind any product.
Same thing at my gym, the owners are always trying to push products while the gym fee is 75 bucks a month already
More Vice on MLMs... LulaRoe
Curious how many of these 10 signs apply to Rodan + Fields. That's the one that has the most people I know involved with it.
As a teacher in SC there's almost zero% chance she should have a student loan payment let alone one over $450
Why do you say that? I’ve seen worse.
They have tuition repayment/forgiveness for teachers there.
I was wrong though since she could not be teaching critical needs subject/location though
Not for everyone they don't. And it's not for the total of your loans.
My wife and I were just invited to a wedding by a girl that does the it works! scam. I don’t think she would’ve invited us if she realized I report every one of her fb posts as spam
My fiancee got invited to a wedding by a nurse at the facility she is the administrator of. She couldnt make it but found out afterwards that the nurse (big essential oils shill) had the entire wedding centered around Doterra essential oils. All the food was made with essential oils. All the gift bags were essential oils. Defusers on the table. The whole 9 yards
Talk about being head deep.... her entire wedding was based on it.
And the eventual divorce will gave gift bags from advocare
