Watched it all, didn’t see the finale. They didn’t do anything to refute wild accusations that exist in that community, which was weird. Especially when dude called them inhuman. Whatever tho. End of the day I think they got their point across. The following is batshit, they have no basis in reality, and it’s a sad stain on the country. Not a lot of nuts there, for good or ill
I felt it was a “documentary” and usually they (documentaries) don’t pass judgment or at least they aren’t supposed to pass judgment. I felt they did well in pointing out the crazy and the stuff that had no biases in fact. It’s intention also wasn’t trying to debunk Q and it’s theories but trying to learn Q’s identity.
If you're not debunking the insanity then you're just spreading it. They could have done more to point out the insanity. Not sure why you feel the need to cape for them.
Every documentary is passing judgment in some form or fashion. Sounds like this one was sympathetic to the Q people, which isn’t surprising for Vice.
since Vice basically ran out of money and started firing tons of people the quality of their stuff, which was always journalistically a little squishy, has plummeted to new lows
Yeah that sucked. The dude is a creepy tourist and the lady is an idiot It's the pig farmer and his son. It has been since Q migrated to 8chan
Has Q posted since late December? I think the last drop I heard about was like Dec. 23 or so. I know there was nothing leading up to and in the wake of Jan. 6, but was there anything around the inauguration?
I’m not. I’m just saying I enjoyed it and felt they did a good job pointing out the crazy without crossing a line documentaries aren’t supposed to. Moreover, their purpose wasn’t to debunk anything but to learn who was Q. You think they should have screamed “you stupid idiot” to the people they interviewed I think the fact check or comments after the interviews were enough. I didn’t (not once) believe they didn’t think the people were crazy or that they were spreading the insanity.
but, it wasn’t. Or at least I didn’t feel it was. It didn’t scream at the people but it didn’t paint them in a positive light.
I tried the QAnon podcast. It took too much energy it's just exhausting. I just can't understand how psychotic these people are.
I’m grateful to that podcast because basically all of my mothers friends are somewhere down in the Q rabbit hole. I wouldn’t have been able to explain to her that she shouldn’t treat her friends Q filled facebook posts as something quirky but that it was a sign that they were actually losing their minds and she could too if she enabled it.
this is religion wrapped up in a different cloth, that's all. we're tiny specks of nothing who exist for essentially no actual time whatsoever on a universal scale and our tiny lizard brains are trash garbage at coming to terms with that and other things that just don't seem "right" so if someone can offer easy answers and lead us on a breadcrumb trail that makes us think we've got a bead on everything then we sleep better.
those two comments don’t contradict one another since the second one is a statement of opinion. I don’t know enough about Q’s origins to know if the theories they presented at the end were wrong. But, that doesn’t change my opinion about enjoying the documentary and thinking they did a good job of debunking the obvious crazy.
Similarly, "Knowledge fight" podcast does a great job of factually breaking down the hyperbolic insanity of Infowars with a touch of humor added.
I can’t believe Weird Al hasn’t written this yet. Jesus, Stop the Steal Take it from Biden Trump can’t do this all on his own
There's going to be some crazy docs over the years about people that used to be QAnon and what their mindset was at the time. Like even beyond the similar Scientology ones. Although thinking about it, there's many QAnon/Scientology mutants out there
I envy your optimism but I don't see any way this problem will disappear any time soon. Conspiracies and disinformation spread through the internet will plague us in perpetuity.
lol an army 2nd LT is literally the lowest ranking of officer. he got a hold of some new dumbshit who just said yea call PAO.
the last guy summed up my thoughts on why this has become so widespread, it's intoxicating feeling like you belong to some grand movement and the community that's been established with everybody cheering one another on will just continue to trap these people
In other news don't flash your lights at cars who are driving without lights at night or they'll kill you as part of a gang initiation!!!!!!!!!!
He was but they're allowing Biden to be a shadow puppet of the Trump administration. I am very excited to see how they explain Biden contiuing to make decisions Trump would not make if Trump is really in control.
The influencers realized you can't put a date on these things because the date shows up and that's the end. You just have to keep people thinking the people in charge are hiding everything and it may or may not happen at some unnamed date in the future.
Didn’t accomplish much of anything of note in 4 years 2 months go by and they’ve completely changed our financial system. Wow.
The words bleep and blorp are 5 letters each, and you added the number 7. This comes out to 17 and Q is the 17th letter in the alphabet. Folks, it is clear that user pperc was sent here by Q to deliver us a message. FOLLOW THE CLUES!!!!
because of this thread I went down a Q rabbit hole and started reading the great awakening board. Yeah they were talking that today was going to be a big day. But, for some reason they realized that was ridiculous. Honestly they are so batshit crazy I can’t believe they somehow came to that understanding. To be fair they still believe trump is on charge (or better said the military) and that within a month or two trump will be in office soon. Some seem to be getting tired of waiting but they all still seem to believe it’s gonna happen. According to their “logic” (since he wasn’t inaugurated on March 4 in 2017) trump really isn’t even the potus. Not that they’ll ever understand that.
