Cornelius Suttree it sounds like a burpee pyramid you are describing but instead of jumps you do arm raises?
yup this was recommended to me by a former pro volleyball player turned bodybuilder
Wife and I walked around block a few times, anytime we came across anyone else, we just diverged naturally, was quite nice until the final mile run home that the wife wanted to do..Still beat her being out of shape.
Dicks has $10 off $50. The bowflex adjustable dumbbells up to 52.5 lbs are on sale for $330 so I thought I was about to kop em for $320. Unavailable for pickup anywhere near you. No stock for shipping
Made my first trip out to the store. First time I’ve driven since last Friday. No lines. Everything stocked. Good times.
Just bought a bike and will be doing some biking around town as well, caged up inside for a long time now, shit makes me mental
I smell like shit. Unplugging from work for a minute and going to shower and then exercise for the first time since Sunday. Yes showering before and then after this one is necessary
Had a good furniture workout yesterday with dips/elevated push-ups/chin-ups/pull-ups/used random stuff for single-arm rows. Followed by a slow yoga class with friends (via Zoom), everybody teaching a section.
Level 2-3 yoga class tonight
Weather in Seattle is fucking gorgeous this weekend. Taking the dog on a forest walk tomorrow, then doing a decently-gnarly hike on Sunday.
If anyone is looking for a good time killer I would suggest the video game “Goat Simulator”. It’s free for download and yes, you get to be a goat.
Email from Amazon:
Your package with Doom Eternal - Xbox One is out for delivery and will arrive by this evening.
Been doing good working out but I’ve also been doin a good job or drinking beer every evening too.
Weird because my Doom arrived for me about a week ago
My kid ordered it sometime in July, and the release date kept getting pushed back. He's been expecting it today for several weeks, because today was the day they had announced that it would finally be available. Then earlier this week Amazon emailed to say that they might not be able to deliver it because of essential products deliveries taking priority, but then this morning they sent this email saying it was out for delivery. He's currently sitting at the front window doing chair dips waiting while wearing his God Mode t-shirt
Not sure how you would have received it early, but DON'T TELL ME HOW IT ENDS
Do we have an 'unhealthy/me fucking around and wasting time' thread?
It's literally the rest of the board.
i rarely drink at all and i’ve been pounding beers
I do pretty well at not drinking sun-thurs but since this work from home quarantine I’m too bored to resist

Here’s a link to a week long spartan routine if anyone’s interested. I take some of it and incorporate it into my workouts. My workouts are more geared to OCR’s. Do a round of exercises, run 1/4 to 1/2 mile, round of exercises, run, continue pattern.
I’m 40 and am generally as limber as a steel beam. I started with this a year ago and it has really helped
I'm gonna try out the Peloton app tomorrow.
Someone point me toward a good adjustable kettlebell.
optional: the 3 weights you should start with if you were going to buy individuals
If I tried to do that kettlebell circuit video thing I'd probably get hurt or injured
one in the 30 range and one in the 60 range is a good start. each company kind of has their own sizing
The master of planks doesn’t get hurt, don’t be ridiculous
Some of you guy who dont mind spending money, these ropes are great
The app is really good too with almost daily workouts that are varied.
I have the Bowflex Kettlebell 840. Got it back in January. $150. Has 8, 12, 20, 25, 35, 40 lb settings. Just a little different feel then an actual kettlebell but gets the job done.

Tomorrow is a rest day. Will probably do some mobility stuff.
My home workouts look so feeble compared to that:
- run 4 miles
- 50 wood choppers with 20# medicine ball each way
- 100 push-ups on the perfect push up
- 20 reps of 10 second scissor kick leg lifts
how many rest days do you take? I crossfit and trail run but find myself doing a little everyday instead of my usual 2 rest days, since transitioning to garage gym.
lol @ the cost of those
Fad workout equipment is so overpriced
Hence why I said spending money. Using a weighted jump rope isn't really a fad
Working out on my concrete driveway could cause some knee pain. Looking at something like this as a preventive measure. Anyone have any experience with rubber flooring for a home gym?
i bought 4x4 mat from dicks last wknd ($50), so $10 less than your site. Picked it up to save on shipping. would need at least another order depending on the equipment you have. I only use the mat for burpees, push-ups, lunges, etc. prepare to spend at least $100
doesn’t help much for dropping weights on it. I’m going to get some crash pads
Stall mats at Tractor Supply work well as flooring
TRX has me all kinds of sore
Planning on following a 3 days on 1 day off routine.
i was doing stuff to improve my Fran time in a couple weeks and now I can’t practice pull-ups. Frustrating but is what it is
Seriously considering installing a playground pull up bar in my backyard, probably research it tonight.
