Teaching my first yoga class via Zoom tonight. It's about 50-75% my shithead friends, with the remainder being their partners and other more-serious friends. Probably going to be a mess, but will still be fun.

Got his app and did the first bodyweight workout yesterday. It asked for a review after and I wrote that I thought it'd be improved by adding video that went the entirety of the workout. He actually emailed me a little bit ago and told me he does them on IG live every day. Just thought it was cool that he cared enough to respond.
Yeah he’s been working his ass off. He does at least two if not more IG lives every day and like you said he’s very responsive to questions. The other day he told people to hop on IG live and tell him what equipment they had and he’d make recommendations for workouts. He seems like a really good guy. I got his app the other day too when it was $1 for the first month. Really want to try that Winter Soldier program when all this is over.
i also rested today. that workout yesterday has me feeling some type of way peloton in the morning and resistance bands circuit in the afternoon tomorrow
Went well, had 11 friends show up. Was a lot of fun. Learned I need to cut back on my cussing when teaching.

Posted this in the other thread but it probably belongs here more. One of the unexpected “benefits” of this is running in the rain during a pandemic you get empty running paths and basically empty streets that make for clean air. It was delightful. Too bad this couldn’t be normal.
Just finished 7 laps at 6 blocks each around my place -- 2 blocks on flat surface, then 1 block with a heavy incline, 2 blocks back to my place, then 1 block with a heavy decline to my front door. One lap is about 0.4/0.5 miles. Usually run all the way until the decline, going heavy downhill kills my knees.
i don’t think 2 bottles of wine and some frozen pizza is the point of this thread but yolo (really need to stop doing this lol)
I shower and get dressed like I'm going into the office. Slacks, button up, and loafers no socks. My productivity and attention span is worlds better than if I don't shower. After making coffee I go into my home office. And then don't spend as much evening time in there like I used to. I need my structure and routine.
I am on the get up, water, coffee, shit, shower and get dressed brigade ... but slacks and a button up? The thought of jeans makes me cringe. today: mobility work Abs And then heavy bag followed by filling out my macros with CFA down 4lbs since March 20
I've worn the same pair of sweatpants for basically the entirety of quarantine, from wake-up until 3-4. Don't wear a shirt prolly 40-50% of the time. But I have been waking up at 7-7:30 basically every day. Hard to demarcate a home office in a 700 sq ft condo. Basically just taken over the dinner table.
Some 50 lb adjustable dumbbells had a release time and everything tonight. Sat there refreshing page 5 minutes before release time, added to cart asap, order went through. Was so damn stoked. 5 minutes later got an email saying my order was cancelled due to no stock. Fuck my fucking life.
Checking in. I’ll try to post more in hopes it keeps me accountable. I will say I’m proud of myself so far given work has been busy as hell and the insane 16 month old with my wife working as well. Sucks not being able to touch a barbell, I miss lifting weight tremendously. Last month has been McGill big 3 every day, 3-6 mile runs whenever possible, random resistance band/body weight circuits and yoga on the peloton app. Yesterday did 20 min and 10 min body weight classes on Peloton followed by 45 minutes of slow yoga flow also on Peloton (shout out Aditi Shah, goddess). Sore as fuck today. Tomorrow it’s back out for at least 5 miles through the top half of Central Park which includes some decent trail running through the North Woods.
Just had a nice Friday workout. Now going to head into the park for some socially distanced yoga with the dog because it is fucking gorgeous outside. 5x10 push-ups with resistance band around the back / super set with / 5x10 goblet squats with kettlebell 5x10 tricep press down with bands (hammer grip) / super set with / 5x8 resistance band press (standing up, push up motion) 5x10 resistance band butterflies / super set with / 5x10 (5 each way) around the world with kettlebell - just do a figure 8 around your legs 5x each way in squat position 5x8 resistance band tricep press (handle grip) / super set with / 5x10 shoulder press w/ resistance bands 5x10 diamond push-ups / super set with / 5x10 squat snatches with kettlebell (5 each arm) Finished with 5x10 elevated leg push ups / super set with / 5x10 body squats
