couple of strategy questions for the Madden pros ... 1) how do you deal w/ a 4-6 Ds & non stop blitzing? even when i come out 3 or 4 wide to try and exploit the DB match up i can't seem to buy enough time ... are there any formations/plays in particular that work well against this style of D? 2) how do you deal w/ press coverage? again, curious to know if there's a certain play/formation i should run if an opponent is constantly pressing ... TIA fellas
screens for blitzing..when they back off run draws...press coverage either use motion or crossing routes. more than likely one of your receivers will break the jam and will be wide open.
thanks fellas that seems to be the consensus. also bunch formations i hear vs press is the way to go. do you guys take a huge drop when setting up your screen passes? can never get time it seems ...
I do. Just be careful not to do too many in a row as the d-lineman stick to your RBs and you get TFL'd after a while. Also a lot of times I come out in a screen to see if they're going to blitz and if I don't like what I see I quick change to a slant and pick up a few easy yards that way.
