I’m a (no longer practicing) molecular biologist. I used to be able to draw out a bunch of bodily processes with details of the molecular pathways from memory. You lose all of that detail when you stop actively/directly working in a discipline and don’t have to read endless amounts of papers and manuscripts.

 

Amongst my IG algorthym of cute/funny animals, climbing, and jump roping - mixed with the obvious half-clothed attractive female - is a regular amount of random science bros and gals. I enjoy having ridiculously complicated science things explained to me like I'm an idiot because in plenty of cases, I am. The body and space are both things that are just ridiculous, the more you learn about them.
