I like the way Ash is closing out this recruit class. Not going to lie was a little nervous with the rash of decommits but I think this year he learned the ropes a little bit with some of the tactics being used on the recruiting trail and would be surprised to see that again.

We like the TE right? 6'6 215 so he can bulk up for a few years behind Washington. He looks like Kroft out of HS.

I'm a big fan.. Soft hands on tape and athletic enough to play lb on his team.. Like his potential a hell of a lot more than Miller. It's not like TE was a strength locally

Reminds me how weird the youngest Miller's recruitment has been. For some reason he committed to Houston of all places after being recruited here and now he's going to end up at Eastern Carolina. So idiotic.

Yeah it's not like we would've pulled the scholarship had he committed early.

I think little Hayek was a reach.

I kind of agree. I think Tyler has some potential as a safety...but it doesn't look like he wants to hit people. If that changes, he has a chance. I don't see TE for him.

Suprisingly pleased at Tijaun Mason's film, dude played QB for his team one game. That's impressive.

Ok Ash needs to stop letting Jerry Kill do his best Kyle Flood impression. Did we really just take another shitty reach?

I can't believe we took Barnwell with Blackshear and Richardson as good possibilities and Dunlap as good as ours if we wanted him. Makes no sense.

I will be livid if one of those 3 does not sign with us. Barnwell is no way better than Dunlap.

So we instead flip kids from Buffalo, Delaware and Holy Cross.

the bolds news is freaking hilarious. hes basically set with us but psu is making a late push if they miss out on their two dt targets...and if he doesnt sign with us its basically gonna destroy relationships with his HS and RU cause this shit was set in stone. im not even mad cause i hate his fat ass. hes a two star if ive ever seen one.

any suggestions as to how i can get banned for 2 months tomorrow? i need to take boards for school and I can't be posting every time im bored so i plan on going out in a blaze of infinite glory while i tell RUchow and the rest of the special people on the roundtable to suck my fat dick and that our recruiting class is awesome.

Honestly i probably wouldnt even get banned..the mods routinely like the crazy shit i post over there even when i try to push my limits. its only spanky that ever dolls out punishment. honestly ive been trying to get banned for months now so i stop posting at work when i have nothing to do..which is all the time

"Nowadays, it's really easy to get into the mind of a 17- or 18-year-old," Union defensive lineman Mike Tverdov said.

"Schools, coaches, family, friends will get in your ear and say, 'Why are you going there? They only won two games this year. They don't belong in the Big Ten. Blah Blah Blah.' A lot of those kids are going to take that and believe it because everything they hear in their recruiting process. But leaders stay."

    This statement is fire...:thumb:

    Jamaal Beatty

    Power 5 Offers: 1

    We beat out: Old Dominion

Pros: Adequate size for an interior OL. Moves well when pulling and getting to 2nd level.

Cons: Lacks explosion on contact, no suddenness and feet look slow. Needs to play lower.

Overall: Note – he had no senior highlights available. Beatty feels like a reach to me. Nothing really excites me about him, his size is average and he lacks pop. I don’t see him playing here.

    Brendan Border

    Power 5 Offers: 9

    We beat out: West Virginia

Pros: Has a good frame with long arms. Quick on the LOS, closes very fast and has a heck of a motor. He has low initial pad level and is decent with the use of his hands. Flashes a fast getoff at times and excels stopping the run. Plays like a prick.

Cons: Lacks aggression off the ball sometimes, too much catching blockers. Plays high once he’s engaged and doesn’t look to have many pass rush moves.

Overall: One of the most impressive out of state recruiting wins I have seen since Muller over PSU and R. Martin over Pitt/WVU. I like how he plays and he has the look of the typical B1G lineman you see at Wisconsin, Minnesota or Iowa. He has the potential to grow into a very good 285-295 pound DT because of his frame. I see him starting off at DE but growing into a starter at DT who has a better chance to excel as a pass rusher inside, using his short area quickness to his advantage.

    Micah Clark

    Power 5 Offers: 17

We beat out: Michigan, UNC, Michigan State, PSU

Pros: Humongous upside. Very long arms, huge hands. Quick feet. Very athletic and bends very well for someone so tall. Has a great frame. Plays with passion.

Cons: Sometime lacks pop on contact, is very lean right now. Looks more like a DE than OT.

Overall: Once Clark gets 2-3 years in a college weight room I think he has the potential to be a 1st round draft pick. Very athletic for an OT - 3 sport athlete in HS (wrestling and volleyball). He has very quick feet, huge wingspan and is one of the best benders I’ve seen in a long time. He might be able to help as a freshman but he needs to fill out. Once he is 300 pounds and has the strength required to play in this conference – lookout.

    Samuel Vretman

    Power 5 Offers: 1

    We beat out: Temple, UCONN

Pros: Has very nice size and quickness. Pass protection looks like his strength as his feet are quick, and he has plenty of quickness leftover to get to the 2nd level in the run game. Plays nasty and finishes plays with pancakes or sprinting downfield to pick off someone.

Cons: Waist bender. Feet are sloppy in the run game. Overall he needs to play lower as he lacks a lot of pop in his hips on contact.

Overall: Can’t figure out his lack of Power 5 offers but I like him a lot. Love his hustle and nasty style of play. He has great size and quickness for a zone scheme and is ahead as a pass protector. Quick and athletic, once he learns to play with better pad level in the run game he’s going to become a starter, possibly earlier than expected in his career.
