Coleman is the last signing day decision I remember. Was Huggins a signing day guy?
Was coming here to post something about this. Marsettes family wants him here but the coach there sounds like he wants him anywhere but RU
My only hope on barnwell is we brought in kill and Erb for a reason and they liked him for whatever reason
He's 5'11 and projects best to LB which is a bit of an issue. He is a very good player though.
We got blackshear, that is a good late pickup.
I would like Barnwell if he was faster. He has good instincts and runs patiently but he just doesn't have the burst you want from your rb's.
That is a good pickup. His tape looks really good and he has the speed.
One of the best ** recruits that I can remember getting.
I just re-watched his senior highlights and this kid can fucking ball. Great, great pickup.
Power 5 Offers:
We beat out: Mich St, Temple
Pros: A big play threat with excellent agility. Can make anyone miss in a phone booth. Has a very nice burst to go along with quick feet, nice balance and good vision. He runs pretty good routes and looks best getting the ball in space.
Cons: Small and think. Not big enough to be an every down back.
Overall: He would benefit most from a redshirt year to get stronger and thicker but he is very dynamic and explosive. I think he can make a major impact in the return game and should get a decent amount of touches each game in space. He projects best at the slot or as a change of pace RB. Type of guy who can take it to the house at anytime. Very underrated pick up.
Much like Blackshear, I would probably have more offers with 2 extra inches
If you could freely exchange inches between your penis length and height how much would you exchange and in which direction?
I'd be a 4 ft midget with a 3 ft dick.
Thanks for the evals Skoolie. I thought they were fair. I always like the "who we beat out" section (no one).
Thanks for the analysis RUskoolie!
Skoolie is a #FootballGuy
Thanks RUskoolie... can't believe you were able to do the evals while being a new dad. That is dedication!
Yeah it stressed me out this year not gonna lie.
I sit next to Towers at the basketball games. Pretty sure he doesn't appreciate my language or my "enthusiasm".
Skoolie I agree with much of your eval. except for Lewis arm strength. He has a stronger arm than any RU QB except for Savage. Looking forward to having a serviceable QB that can get us to at least 4 maybe 5 wins lol.
He is probably scared youll take his wife/gravy train
The nut puncher himself, herb pope, pleaded guilty to a bank robbery. Truly one of the all time villains.
Gonzo's teams were ridiculous. Around the same time they had the dude who hit a lady on the Parkway, driving the wrong way, dui, and he only got a 4 game suspension
Road win without Nigel
A win for the good guys over a much hated, diabolical rival.
doubled B1G win total from last year...keep it going!
Painful to watch until we won. If we had won vs Wisconsin we'd have serious momentum right now.
Penn State fans lurking in here right now...I was giving Lamar Stevens a really hard time during our first game this season, but that kid is going to be ridiculous.
Anyone know where I can find a replay of the game?
Don't think it's showing on the BTN.
WatchESPN app should have the replay. Game was on espnu
Just watched the game. Some thoughts that no one will read and should be posted on the basketball board:
- Thiam is completely useless and is a big liability. He literally cannot dribble, has an ugly shot and looks nervous and rattled despite being well into the season.
- I've never been a big Mike Williams fan, but damn is he an excellent rebounder. We need him to score 12+ in order to win any B1G games.
- Nigel cannot shoot to save his life. Should have known that those quotes about him being the best player on the team last year were bullshit.
- Gettys has obviously been exposed a bit in conference play, but he was a fantastic pickup by Pikiell, especially considering how late we got him.
- Omoruyi has so much potential. The poor man's Draymond Green comparisons are spot on. He can create & pass and is a very big boy. I heard Pikiell say he can be as good as Caron Butler, and while that's obviously a stretch, I think he takes a big step next year and helps us.
- Freeman has been playing well of late after struggling early in conference play. Very glad we have him back next year.
- Sa is another who's been completely exposed by better competition. He only played 2 minutes today and that shows what kind of faith Pikiell has in him.
- Doorson is so pathetically unskilled that I almost feel bad for him.
Those who are ready to throw omoyuri under the bus as a frosh are absolutely out of their minds. He has a lot of promise. Also, I think thiamine just needs a heck of a lot more muscle mass to be effective..And to work on getting his shot off much quicker.
In other news...
P.s. Nigel didn't play today due to injury..Making the win a bit more impressive
Super bored today, so I thought I'd go through all the 2017 commitments, watch their highlights and give my thoughts. So be prepared for a really long, amateur scouting report.
4 RU guys got SB rings tonight..Very nice. Hopefully one coaches for us one day as a position coach (or head coach..Who knows).
Falcons didn't throw to Sanu enough
I agree.... i think that had a lot to do with logan ryan covering him
Logan is gonna get PAAAAID this offseason
Looks like adidas got the uniform deal.
Sounds like adidas is gonna treat us better compared to Nike..Promised to do a lot for our brand and they have a dedicated agent for us and everything. Nike never gave us shit and treated us like the crap on the back of their boot
Adidas is the hotter shit these days than Nike if you don't count the Jordan brand. RU is switching at the right time.
Maybe Kanye can design our new uniforms
Jerry Carino disagrees with you and feels this is really going to affect basketball recruiting in a bad way.
I see why he is writing that, but I don't buy that what he is saying will be the case long term. Most AAU teams in this area have a Nike or UA affiliation because Nike has been the industry leader and UA made a conscious business decision to invest in youth level and college sports for branding purposes. Adidas in the other hand, made a decision to invest in the casual/lifestyle and running markets first and will transition their success in those markets to traditional sportswear, team equipment etc. Basically, what this means is Carino is lacking the understanding that the second Adidas drops the Yeezy basketball shoe (slated for this year), they will have the hottest bball shoe in the industry and it will be interesting to see how much of this AAU shit matters if Adidas schools get to wear the yeezy basketball models.
You definitely have a better understanding of it than me.
I mean Louisville and Kansas have adidas uniforms as does the NBA - so don't really see how it matters for basketball. As long as we're getting a good deal, who cares.
NBA is switching to Nike next season
Hudl keeps fucking up for me.
Have 5 more players to look at and 5 that I need to expand upon.
Gross when he remembers he has to wrestle Kyle Snyder
was i the only one hoping she wasnt attached to anything?
Gaga slays bruh
