Love Jerry Kill's play calling. Every snap was inside of 10 seconds. Cuts the game down, smart. Ash has to grow some balls and go for it sometimes. We were outmanned on some TDs and also our coaches got their ass kicked for a bit in Q3 but I'm not upset. Good showing, we're improving.
respectable. turay with the blown coverage on that one td..lol. but i can sleep this week not having to worry that my school looked like it didnt belong. we were in it til the end and the conservative playcalling had something to do with how fresh we kept our defense. they're just a good team and they have a qb who will probably be a high pick..bolin needs to be more careful with the ball, but FWIW this was probably a top 3 defense that he will face this year. i will give him a pass and i will tip my hat to the young OL who actually did some damage against a very solid DL.
D-line actually got some pressure. Offense looked semi-cohesive. Still blowing timeouts like they might not matter later. Band looked and sounded better IMO. Decent crowd for a team that might win 2-4 games on a Friday night going into labor day weekend. No more 50-50?
I think the coaching staff got exactly what they wanted with their game plan. We had 131 yards on the ground, kept them under 100 rushing, we had almost 2x the time of possession, controlled the clock and slowed the game way down, both o and d line showed toughness, and we even had a pass rush?! Hard not to be pleased with what we saw last night
How about bailey making an impact. He was pretty quiet this spring. Wormley with the first catch out of the freshmen bunch
Also I love the uniforms again. Clean numbers I can read, simple, red/white combo really pops at night, and I really really really like that Rutgers is across the chest again
Yeah, but Texas hasn't been good the last 3-4 years. There is no way they should have been a top 25 team. It was all Herman/name hype
pigrome ugly injury..if hes done for year maryland is fucked. he hobbled off the field..with an injury like that im not sure why they'd take that chance of him walking without help but that just me.
125- Suriano 133- DelVecchio/Firestone 141- Ashnault 149- Giraldo/Deluca 157- Richie Lewis 165- Van Brill 174- Pagano/Grello 184- Gravina 197- Mulligan HWT- Gross
looks good to me! womens soccer hasnt let in a goal. field hockey is undefeated. football didnt embarrass themselves. this athletic department is starting to shape up.
Was anybody else shocked about Previlon? Watching the replay and he's out there getting in Browning's face and knocking down passes. I thought he was a scrub that would never play.
This would honestly be a very pleasant development because I had him pegged as a kid who would open up a ship soon. He's 6-5 290 now. He's going to play a lot more the rest of the month because we're nicked up at DL.
This is from one year ago today, looks pretty close outside of not knowing about the grad transfers that would come in. Think he will eventually transfer tbh but he does everything right at least. I'm waiting for Jabbie to move to D because he is never going to play WR here. Blunt can just leave already.
