I know the red flags and don't care. This is like you've had a dry spell and suddenly you land a hot crazy chick.
I might make a baby tonight. I think he's a future NFL Draft pick. Watch his junior tape, his release is so damn fast, he is pretty darn quick and has prototypical size. Yeah, if that's a project sign me up every year for that kind of kid.
I like how people on SN are saying its the biggest commit since Huggins. Like, did Darius Hamilton never exist or am I missing something?
Very pumped about this. Could be a bust but we needed this. Hopefully it will help bring amad back in
Sitkowski is fucking terrible. I'm pretty surprised you guys are taking a kid who can't even start in HS. Would love to see him play against Michigan though
lol at anyone of a ranked fanbase that comes in here to shit on the biggest commit we've gotten in years
So he had his struggles moving from 3 years of running the option in h.s.? No...no kidding! I didn't realize that magically transformed him from having an NFL arm to having a noodle arm. Woe is us..the potential is all gone.
Yes the stats of the other starter are so much more impressive According to MaxPreps, Sitkowski has played in five games, completing 42 of 72 passes for 323 yards with two TDs and three interceptions. The other QB, Zack Annexstad, who is also a senior, has played in four games and has completed 39 passes on 73 attempts for 574 yards with five touchdowns and three picks. Looks like one got a big luckier to me. It's a high school all-star team. Shit happens. He's not the only one to struggle after running option for 3 years and completely changing it up. Changes nothing about his arm strength and potential. Tom savage had dogshit stats in h.s. and he still made the NFL.
Everyone in this thread loves Heather Zurich, myself included. My random ass confession is I had a thing for Chelsea Newton. She's kinda cute!
Honestly, I don't get why they're ranked so high. Their strength if schedule/victories isn't impressive at all...(not saying we'd beat them or anything, but I just don't get the hype)
You can say the same thing about Bama, PSU, and Wisconsin. Who have any of them beaten? And they're the lowest ranked unbeaten P5 team, so if anything they have the opposite of hype. Don't be a literal fucking retard just because people told you the truth about Shitkowski.
I have noticed Michigan fans on multiple boards smack talking this particular recruit. How insecure is your fan base? Hit the road queer bait.
That's why his user name starts with baby. I'm just glad sit started working in a real offense before he came here..makes the transition easier. It's not like he absolutely has to start next year..we have gio and Lewis returning
How dare you Rutgers fans be excited about a 4 star QB committing to your school? Don't you know you have to be miserable for eternity?
I don't get why Michigan fans care. Didn't they watch last week's game and hear the commentary of the great Millen? "Something magically wonderful, profound and awesome is happening with the freshman QB"
All right, Bitches – It's game day… Move it up in the world, I got a blue lot pass today (instead of my normal Black lot).
Great win today. RU won its third straight B1G in a row and about 90 seconds later PSU lost on a last second FG. It's a good day to be a Rutgers fan.
I feel like Onyechi got a lot of time today. Nice to see. Also noticed that Bailey was in at nickel a few times. Sheesh is our secondary banged up.
this team showed a lot today. props to guys like julius turner who are giving it their all and bringing tons of energy.
The fans who showed up.. Incredibly loud. But shame on the season ticket holders who after all the complaining of the Yankees stadium venue and 12 starts and weather and all the usual bullshit.. Left the stadium half empty. Great weather, great pick em game which everyone knew would be close, still fighting for a bowl, great tailgating time slot.. And it felt like we were the pitt fanbase (until the 35 k crowd made it sound like 45-50 k.. My ears rang for a while there).
yes the crowd was small but it felt like the passionate fans were there and engaged. i doubt our season ticket holder base is much more than was there today considering how the last few years have gone. same thing with the students. not a huge student turn out, but a lot of passion out of those that did attend.
It was incredibly loud. Funny story - had a few Maryland frat bro types standing on the concourse behind our seats and started giving us balls after we were bitching about the bull shit offsides call which was a false start. Words were exchanged and they lingered yelling zingers such as "this place stinks like my dad's asshole" - that is an actual quote
i was a freshman when we played maryland in 2007. though we lost, this moment will always hold a special place in my heart. i was right by this guy in the old student section
Honestly the 35k probably helped us..it'll light a fire under people's asses to get to the Michigan State game and the way those boos traveled through the stadium yesterday made it seem pretty darn loud. Plus it seemed like a majority of the die hard fans were actually standing for a good chunk of the game.
