First time I see Sarabia linked to Madrid. Article says he is not renewing his contract waiting for Madrid and his release clause is between 18-22m euros.
His name floated around last summer when they were looking for a replacement/backup for Benzema but this is the first I've seen it this year.
No one really knows but it'll depend on how much they decide to splash on the front line and whether or not they unload Bale, James & Co. Eriksen seems to be more popular among the fans than the coaches/board. With Kroos (& Modric) extended and Isco supposedly OK coming off the bench it's lower on the priority list.
Ramos press conference today. Madrid outlets confident he stays, could be an extension announcement or just confirmation he’s staying.
No contract extension, just announced that he's staying. Claims he wants to retire in Madrid because he loves it there and its not about money which isn't going over all that well on social media. What a weird thing to have a PC for.
Multiple reports that the Mendy deal is done now that his physical is complete and $50M is the price. Same reports saying that Jovic is next to be closed later this week and that the club wants all 3 (Hazard) to be taken care of by the end of the international break so that they can leave for vacation and be ready to report July 8th when the preseason starts.
Lopetegui the new Sevilla manager. Fuck Sevilla but I hope he's able to have some success and jumpstart his career again.
Lyon claim no agreement for Mendy yet. Madrid outlets indicate he passed medical and few will be 55m.
Also on Reyes son, while a great gesture kid is apparently very good and was already supposed to come to Madrid but now President assuring he will be there till 18.
Also the Eriksen comments are interesting. Reading that ZZ still pushing for Pogba but club wants Eriksen.
Link? I realize it's inevitable but everything I've seen to this point says Real's rep London without a deal.
Seems like a decent price given his contract situation and the fact that he wants to leave. How much more would you realistically expect?
That was what you wanted to pay. Chelsea wanted more. Didnt even meet in the middle? I'm extremely skeptical that we just let yall pay what you wanted from the beginning.
I'm not a Madrid fan. Was just wondering since it doesn't seem like Chelsea have much leverage in this situation. Especially with the impending transfer ban and not being able to replace him before his contract is up.
80 as a starting point when the options are sell him now to them or lose him in a year for free seems fine
Both players made it publicly known that they want to leave the club. Hazard going about it in a nicer way isn't going to affect the price.
Please treat Eden well. Unless you watch every single Chelsea game you don’t realize quite how good he is and how bad some of our “name” players around him are. Will be interesting to see how he looks with much more talented forward options around him. I wish La Liga would switch off of beIN sport so I could watch more.
No announcement coming today. Also sounds like there might be an issue with Mendy's medical evaluation.
Nothing official. His physical took place near the French National Team's training grounds (called up for the Euro qualifiers) which didn't have all of the equipment necessary to complete the type of examination the club wanted. Sounds like he'll be in Madrid to complete it early next week and the deal should be finalized shortly after.
